Does Black Ops 6 Have Multiple Endings? Here's The Answer And More

As a long-time Call of Duty: Black Ops enthusiast, I must say I find myself both intrigued and slightly disappointed by the news about Black Ops 6. On one hand, the linear storyline removes the guesswork and speculation that comes with multiple endings, providing a more straightforward narrative experience. On the other hand, the freedom to choose how to tackle objectives within certain missions sounds like a delightful twist on the traditional formula, adding a layer of replayability that I can’t wait to explore.

Over time, several installments of Call of Duty: Black Oops have featured various conclusions; however, this practice won’t be carried forward into Black Ops 6. Creative director Jon Zuk clarified this detail during his latest interview.

He told IGN, “Black Ops 6 is a linear story, so there is not a branching ending for this one.”

In Black Ops 6, though a single ending is set for the main storyline, players can opt for varying approaches when completing individual missions. As explained by lead narrative producer Natalie Pohorski, some missions offer choices like, “Here are your objectives, now you can survey the situation and decide which one to tackle initially.

Pohorski stated: “You can choose whether to proceed boldly or covertly based on your mission requirements. The variety arises from this decision-making process during the political gala. One time you might opt for blackmailing a senator, while another time you could aim to hack into a silent auction.

According to Activision’s previous statements, the campaign length for Black Ops 6 should be similar to what you’d typically find in a Call of Duty game. IGN has reported that the campaign for Black Ops 6 is actually longer than Black Ops Cold War’s. However, since everyone plays games differently, your experience with the game’s length may vary.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 goes live on October 25th. You can play it immediately if you have Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass membership. The game will also be available for purchase directly on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms. For further details about preloading and launch times, head over to TopMob’s guide on Black Ops 6.
