Disney+ already has a ton of Marvel shows and movies, and there’s even more on the way! This month, several major releases are coming to the service, with new content designed to appeal to a wide range of viewers.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the ongoing second season of Daredevil: Born Again, one of the biggest streaming releases in April 2026. The new season premiered in March, a year after the first, and episodes have been released each week on Apr. 7, 14, 21, and 28. The season will conclude on May 5, and Disney+ has already greenlit a third season, promising more adventures to come.
Matt Murdock Is Back in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
Krysten Ritter is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Jessica Jones, appearing in the second half of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Reports also suggest that Luke Cage and Iron Fist will be back in the new season, potentially bringing The Defenders team back together – though this hasn’t been officially confirmed.
Meet Iron Man and His Awesome Friends Continues
While Daredevil: Born Again is getting a lot of attention, another Marvel series is also releasing new episodes this month. Meet Iron Man and His Awesome Friends returns to Disney+ on April 14th after being off the air for almost a year. This show is mainly for younger viewers, especially preschoolers, and also airs on Disney Junior before becoming available for streaming. It follows Iron Man, Ironheart, and Iron Hulk as they team up to solve problems in their city.
Spider-Man: No Way Home Finally Hits Disney+
I’m so excited that one of my favorite Marvel movies is finally coming to Disney+ this month! It’s the one where Tom Holland’s Spider-Man meets the older versions played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield – it was a dream come true seeing them all together. When it came out in 2021, it absolutely blew up, making almost $2 billion worldwide and getting amazing reviews – a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes! It’s a must-watch, and I can’t wait to see it again.
For a while, you could watch Spider-Man: No Way Home on Starz. It wasn’t available on Disney+ because of a licensing agreement with Sony, but other Spider-Man movies are already on Disney+, so fans have been waiting for No Way Home to arrive for some time.
Okay, so I spent the weekend catching up on some Marvel on Disney+, and let me tell you, it was a good one! I finally got around to Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again – it’s intense, as expected. I also checked out Season 1 of Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, which is a fun, lighthearted watch. And of course, I had to revisit Spider-Man: No Way Home – still a fantastic movie, even on a rewatch. All three are currently streaming on Disney+ if you’re looking for some superhero action.
