Following the unexpected demise of our founder Richard Stern, it’s all hands on deck as we strive to save ‘My Agent Berlin’. We’re teetering on the edge of financial collapse, so it’s crucial that we quickly recruit fresh talent and maintain our current clients’ satisfaction. Every move we make now could determine our survival. This agency is the lifeblood of our story. As glamorous celebrities traverse our halls and real-life stars grace each episode, the agents engage in cutthroat competition behind closed doors. They are adept at manipulation, willing to walk through fire for their clients. The series weaves together themes of betrayal, love, family, and friendship, creating a potent blend that blurs the lines between professional and personal life. Each conflict propels us either towards triumph or catastrophe.
According to Johann Buchholz, managing director of Friday Film and creator of the series, he stated: “We’re honoring many of our nation’s masterful puppeteers who work within the film industry with this monument.
Benjamina Mirnik-Voges, director of original productions for The Walt Disney Company in German-speaking regions, expressed her joy and pride about collaborating with Friday Film to tailor this unique dramedy for the German audience. She highlighted that the series offers a captivating blend of heartfelt emotions, thrilling moments, and top-tier self-deprecating humor,” said Mirnik-Voges.
The latest version of the popular French show “Call My Agent,” translated into German, has been broadcast in various countries including the UK, Italy, India, Canada, Poland, and Turkey, to name a few.
