In the course of playing through Rinascita’s Main Story, one of the locations players will uncover is known as Penitent’s End. This area, referred to as Wuthering Waves, holds significance due to a series of disappearances in Ragunna City and serves as the dwelling of the ‘Fools’. It’s here that players get to know characters such as Brant and Roccia, who reside in the primary caves within this region.
Beyond serving as a sanctuary from The Order, this region is also home to a fearsome dragon perched atop the mountain’s peak. While it may not be as secure as Ragunna City due to the numerous foes lurking around every corner, your journey will lead you to a diverse array of resources. The Sonance Casket, a common find, is particularly valuable; Penitent’s End has 17 of them, though some can be challenging to locate. Here are the locations of all the Sonance Caskets in Penitent’s End and tips for WuWa players on where to find them.

In the game, as you traverse the bridge from Wailing Ascent, you’ll come across the initial Sonance Casket located on your right, right smack in the middle of the path. If you’ve previously activated the Resonance Beacon at the southern part of the island, simply jump off the cliff in front of you to spot the road where it hovers.

From where you are now, proceed along the path and let the white cat’s paw guide you for a quicker journey. Continue straight until you come across a water body with a cascading waterfall. Once there, veer to your left and climb up the waterfall using the echo gondola. You will eventually reach a cave. The Sonance Casket, located on a platform close to the cave wall, will be on your right.

Starting from the cave, turn your head towards the opening, and you’ll find a makeshift ‘camp’ with scattered bone remnants nearby. Use Cuddly Wuddly’s agility to leap onto the camp’s summit, then climb up the bones to reach the platform. You can utilize Cuddly Wuddly’s grapple ability to snatch the Sonance Casket hanging overhead.

As I move forward from my last position, I come across another encampment up ahead. The Plushie Squad seems to have taken over this place. Stepping into their large tent, I spot the Sonance Casket nestled to my right side.

Afterward, make your way from the Plushie Squad’s camp, go behind the tent and hitch a ride with the Wingray positioned close to the cliff edge. Utilize the Wingray’s unique flight capabilities to soar northward over the island and approach a shipwreck. The Sonance Casket can be found on the lower decks hidden among some crates.

After that, make your way towards the Resonance Beacon located northwest of the island. A short distance beyond it, you’ll discover a bone fragment. Simply scale this and retrieve the Sonance Casket situated at its summit.

After collecting the earlier Sonance Casket, leap from the bone remnant and make your descent along the cliffside until you reach another Sonance Casket perched on a fallen tree trunk. This particular casket is situated above the Fractsidus Encampment.

Return to the Resonance Beacon and move your direction north-east on the map towards a Fractsidus Camp. After passing the camp, continue and you’ll come across a series of waterfalls. When you reach those waterfalls, leap from the cliff and soar left towards some wooden platforms built into the cliff face. The Sonance Casket will be situated on the lowest one there.

At the summit of Penitent’s End, right beside the Dragon of Dirge boss arena, you’ll find the Sonance Casket. To get there, transport yourself to the Resonance Nexus and ascend the mountain leading to the battlefield. Look for a bone-like structure above the boss area, climb it to reach the top. Once you’re there, the Sonance Casket will be waiting at the end. Utilize your grappling skill to secure it.

The Sonance Casket is situated near the entrance of the Fool’s Elysium cave. Since you should have already activated the Resonance Beacons beneath ground during the main Rinascita mission, simply teleport to the one nearest the cave entrance and turn around to go outside. Essentially, you need to move towards the cave entrance to locate the Sonance Casket floating on the water. A gondola will be nearby for you to navigate towards the Sonance Casket.

To get to Wingray, which will take you up the island’s peak, start from the last Cave Entrance point, then veer left on the map (towards the small island ahead). Once atop the island, fly for a brief period until you reach an arena-like area. This arena is part of a quest chain; if you fly towards a damaged structure, you’ll discover a Sonance Casket buried under debris.

Venture next to The Strand’s Resonance Beacon, then make your way to the northeastern region of this captivating island. Journey to its very end, where you’ll encounter some intriguing ruins. Atop the highest structure within these ruins, you’ll find the elusive Sonance Casket.

Moving forward, head north on your map towards the solitary island at the tip of Penitent’s End. You’ll find a Wingray not far from there which can assist you in getting to it. The Sonance Casket is located near the island’s edge, hidden under a stone.

Move towards the Resonance Beacon close to Wailing Ascent. After arriving, face the north-eastern direction on your map. Then, take a leap from the cliff above you and descend towards the waterfall below. If you spot a gondola, it signifies that you’re in the correct location. This time, go down the waterfall to your right side to discover the Sonance Casket suspended in mid-air.

Make your way towards the Resonance Beacon within Fool’s Elysium, then veer right to spot a small cave. Once you’ve found that, continue moving southeast from the cave to locate the Resonance Beacon. Proceed into the cave and journey right to the end to discover the Sonance Casket.

Return to the same Resonance Beacon and then proceed in the opposite direction. Keep an eye out for an NPC named Nado who’ll be resting under a wooden structure. Sitting atop the wooden deck will be a Cuddly Wuddly and another NPC. You’ll find the Sonance Casket concealed behind them, so ascend to the platform as it’s located there. A ladder can be found to the left of the wooden platform, so simply climb it to get to the area.

Lastly, make your way to the Resonance Beacon situated at Wailing Ascent. From there, proceed straight ahead on the path in front of you. After that, veer to the right and advance past all the adversaries as well as Vitreum Dancers. The Sonance Casket will be located nearby a small gap in the wall behind them.
