On TikTok, BenzyNews announced that “AJ, a prominent figure, has sadly passed away,” as indicated in a post shared from AJ Befumo’s social media account (Twitter or X).
This morning, we learned that Eric Justice Befumo (Big AJ) has tragically passed away at home. At present, the exact cause of death is unknown, but it’s suspected that his extensive use of steroids may have played a significant role.

Although the Costco Family hasn’t explicitly denied the rumors, it’s important to note that the supposed tweet from AJ Befumo, as seen in the viral TikTok video, cannot be found on his actual Twitter or X account.
In addition to being questionable, the content of the post seems to contain factual inaccuracies that cast doubt on its authenticity. The most glaring error is the claim that AJ’s first name is Eric, which contradicts the commonly accepted knowledge that his real first name is Andrew.
