In his new Formula 1 racing movie, ,
During discussions about his role in the latest blockbuster film, Pitt shared an anecdote about having to consume numerous servings of beans and bacon for repeated takes in a specific scene filmed at a quaint café. This culinary choice had an instant and unpleasant impact on him. On the New Heights podcast, Pitt divulged:
Or more informally:
In a chat about his new movie hit, Pitt shared a funny story with us – he had to eat loads of beans and bacon for multiple takes in a café scene, which made him feel really uncomfortable. On the New Heights podcast, Pitt revealed:
In a quaint yet cramped café teeming with crew members (approximately 60 souls), I found myself immersed in an environment that was stifling and unyielding to fresh air. My character, emaciated and famished after days without sustenance, finally received his first plate of beans and bacon. Adhering to the Method acting approach, I committed wholeheartedly to my role, savoring each bite of those beans as if they were my last. Rehearsal takes two, three, four – each time, replicating the act, until suddenly, something unexpected struck me.
In a turn of events, I found myself unable to act as I was confined to this chair. Time passed, and nature unfolded its course. Eventually, it seemed like I had dodged a bullet. A sudden, malicious force – something sinister, I couldn’t quite put my finger on it – appeared to have struck the entire crew in that very room. Overwhelmed, they hastily abandoned the café.
Brad Pitt Has Had a Breezy Box Office Run with His Multi-Million-Dollar Epic
Initially, there were reports suggesting that Pitt’s racing movie had production costs of approximately $400 million. However, this figure has since been adjusted down to around $250 million, which is significantly less than the initial estimate. Given this revised budget, the current earnings of $237.4 million are not particularly impressive, but they will cover the costs and possibly marketing expenses before the movie’s release on Video On Demand (VOD), Blu-ray, and eventually streaming platforms. This suggests a profit that could be considered reasonable in the end.
Is it possible that Pitt will return to racing, or is this something they’ll have to carefully ponder over? Making sports movies can be quite unpredictable, and producing a sequel to a film with high production costs that barely made it in the box office could potentially be a risk too big for Apple and Warner Bros. Pictures to take on.
An F1 sequel might be brought into production, possibly featuring Brad Pitt’s character again, due to its connection with the racing film Days of Thunder, which is now rumored to have a sequel in development. If this sequel is indeed how the franchise continues remains uncertain, but it’s clear that there could potentially be room for another F1 movie down the line.
