This Halloween, even if my favorite spine-chilling films aren’t enough to keep me awake at night, I can still get my horror fix thanks to YouTube! Creator Dhar Mann has been crafting chilling shorts and web series on his channel since 2018, amassing millions of views.
He’s already got 11 shows available to stream, including Antwan Against All Odds and Emily Ever After, but now the film mogul is trying his hand at family-friendly horror.
The outcome features a collection of Halloween tales encompassing topics such as teenage dreams of being vampires and unsettling stories involving elderly men in deserted homes. The first episode has been released, so let’s delve into what this chilling series by Dhar Mann truly entails.
What’s Secret of the Shadows about?
The Secret of the Shadows is a collection of spooky tales suitable for all ages, with a new story unfolding in each episode. Episode 1, titled ‘A Sick Girl Falls in Love with a Vampire’, delivers just that – a captivating narrative about a girl and her supernatural love interest.
The basic idea is clear: Vince, who happens to be a vampire, spends his nights cleaning at a nearby hospital. He develops a bond with Reena, a patient whose cancer treatment isn’t responding.
