‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Trailer: Dexter Morgan Is Back in Bloody Revival

Dexter Morgan is back to take more lives. The first teaser for “Dexter: Revival,” a follow-up series to both “Dexter” and “Dexter: New Blood,” has been unveiled by Paramount+ in collaboration with Showtime.

Michael C. Hall is set to reprise his role as the central character, the forensic blood splatter analyst/serial killer, following his appearances in eight seasons of “Dexter” and more recently providing narration for Season 1 of the prequel titled “Dexter: New Beginning.

The fresh trailer unveiled during the “Dexter: Resurrection” event at CCXP Mexico City showcases Hall’s captivating villain returning to his deadly ways, barely a month after being shot by his son Harrison (Jack Alcott) in the chest. As per the official summary, the upcoming series finds Morgan on a quest for New York City, where he intends to track down and reconcile with Harrison.

However, a resolution won’t be simple, as the summary proceeds. When Angel Batista from Miami Metro, played by David Zayas, arrives with queries, Dexter recognizes his past is quickly closing in on him. As they both grapple with their own shadows within the city that never rests, father and son soon discover they’re in a predicament far deeper than anticipated – and the only escape route is by standing together.
