The in-game event known as “Rite of the Nine” for Destiny 2 started on May 6th. This event brought back around a dozen weapons that were previously found within dungeons, each one now featuring fresh and enticing new perk configurations to collect.
Until Ghosts of the Deep and Prophecy become part of the event’s cycle in the upcoming weeks, Terminus Horizon – which can be acquired from Spire of the Watcher – is fast becoming an essential tool for dedicated PvE players.
Although several data-mined perk collections for Rite of the Nine’s weapons may not be impressive, this formidable Machine Gun certainly buckes that trend.
If you’re fond of Thunderlord, then the revamped Terminus Horizon is an exceptional, legendary option worthy of your collection you shouldn’t miss out on.

Indeed, you’re looking at the Reconstruction on an Arc Machine Gun. This pairing sets Terminus Horizon in the top S-tier, alongside Corrective Measure and Pro Memoria. The unique feature of Reconstruction, automatically reloading any weapon it’s equipped with, is a blessing for Machine Guns, particularly due to their slow reload times.
Beyond that, let me add something else. In Episode Heresy, Jolting Feedback emerged as the top Arc-element additional ability for clearing adds, creating lightning chains between enemies with each consecutive hit. With Reconstruction eliminating the need to reload, this combination is exceptionally lethal, particularly for Arc builds that can leverage Heresy’s Artifact mods and class Fragments.
In PvP (Player versus Player) combat, it’s advisable to select the Demolitionist perk because it returns Grenade energy upon enemy kills, which can be very useful. Additionally, choosing High-Impact reserves will boost your damage output instantly as these reserves work differently in Crucible (competitive multiplayer mode), enhancing the effectiveness of heavy ammo.
It’s time to bid farewell to Terminus Horizon, but if you prefer a more aggressive approach in gameplay, give Watchful Eye a try! While it doesn’t come with Reconstruction, it’s still an excellent choice for your deck.
