Even though the pre-orders for the highly anticipated Pokemon TCG’s Destined Rivals expansion might have been sold out, there’s still hope for those who missed the opportunity.
On March 21, the official unveiling of the set took place, and pre-orders for the Pokemon Center started on March 24. While numerous players and collectors managed to get their hands on an Elite Trainer or booster box, many were disappointed when they found themselves stuck in a seemingly endless queue system, leaving them empty-handed.
The whole range of products was snapped up straightaway, leaving scalpers and market vendors to quickly re-list their buys at significantly higher prices on eBay, even though more than two months were left until the official release date on May 30th.
Amid all of this frustration, however, there is some semblance of a silver lining.
Destined Rivals restocks are coming
According to the Frequently Asked Questions section on the Pokemon Center’s website for Destined Rivals, they have confirmed that additional stock of the expansion will become available, though they have not yet specified when this will occur.
Currently, we don’t know when this particular item will be back in stock, but we expect to have more of it later in the year. You can stay updated about restocks and new items by checking our website, subscribing to our newsletter, or following us on our social media platforms.

Titled “Destined Rivals,” this collection is a blend of the Heat Wave Arena and Team Rocket’s Glory card sets from Japan, offering over 240 fresh cards, all thematically centered around the notorious organization led by Giovanni, the infamous Team Rocket leader.
It’s comforting to hear about restocks, especially for those who couldn’t get their hands on the initial release. However, whether reprints will be able to satisfy such high demand remains uncertain. Despite the guarantee of additional stock, scalpers persistently drive up prices for the Prismatic Evolutions special set due in January 2025.
