The popular television series “Desperate Housewives,” initially developed by Marc Cherry, ran on ABC from 2004 to 2012 for a total of eight seasons and almost 200 episodes. This soap opera was an instant success and featured a star-studded cast consisting of Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, and Eva Longoria. Throughout its run, the show earned 38 Emmy nominations; Felicity Huffman took home the award for best lead actress in a comedy in 2005, while Kathryn Joosten won best guest actress in a comedy on two separate occasions. The production of this series was initially handled by ABC Studios, but by October 2024, it had been integrated into 20th Television.
