Notably, Spike Lee is teaming up with acclaimed actor Denzel Washington once again for this project. Additionally, ASAP Rocky has joined the cast, and there’s an amusing story behind why he was chosen for the role.

I find that striking! Upon observing the two artists, it’s clear they share some similar features. Interestingly, it’s unusual for a director to be influenced by internet memes when selecting actors, but in this case, Lee seems to have been drawn to them for his latest production. Frankly, I can’t seem to forget that resemblance now.

I’m eagerly anticipating the on-screen chemistry between Washington and Rocky – it promises to be intriguing! At this stage, Spike Lee is hinting that the rapper delivers an impressive performance. After re-watching my beloved Spike Lee film, it struck me as even more emotionally poignant than I had recalled. Therefore, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on it.

According to Spike Lee’s praises, it seems ASAP Rocky is set to impress audiences. Although he’s famous for his hits on the Billboard Top 100, he has demonstrated his acting talents in various films. Making his film debut in the critically acclaimed Black-led coming-of-age movie, “Dope,” and also starring in the Netflix legal drama “Monster,” Rocky will soon be seen in the upcoming A24 film titled “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.
