On Tuesday, a Quebec filmmaker was bestowed the title of Chevalier in the Order of Arts and Letters by France’s Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, in Paris.

He received the recognition for his illustrious career that encompasses “Dune” and its follow-up, along with “Blade Runner 2049,” “Arrival,” and “Sicario” among other notable projects.
