Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! Gameplay
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Gain Victory in This Digital Board Game!
In “Sweep the Board” mode, which is the primary game setting for a four-player game, competitors aim to amass the greatest number of Rank Points. To achieve this, they must journey to designated “Destination Spaces,” where they encounter formidable demons to vanquish. Throughout their journey, players encounter challenges and mini-games. The player with the most accumulated Rank Points at the game’s end emerges as the victor.
During the daytime in Sweep the Board!, players take turns rolling dice and moving around the board. Once everyone has completed a turn, you’ll engage in “Skill Training” mini-games. Successfully participating in these games awards you with valuable Slayer Coins that can be utilized for various actions and objectives on the gameboard.
When a player lands on the final space, referred to as the Destination Space, evening sets in. In this phase, the player occupying the Destination Space is rewarded with Rank Points. There’s also a chance of encountering a formidable enemy called a Greater Demon. Interactions with this demon could lead to a battle where all players engage. Occasionally, the Greater Demon will bypass combat and relocate to another Destination Space instead.
In the course of the fight against the Greater Demon, teammates need to synchronize their actions according to the directions displayed on the screen. This collaboration persists until the Greater Demon is vanquished. Subsequently, the players receive Rank Points based on how effectively they contributed during the battle.
Circling the game board may lead to unpredictable occurrences that could benefit or disadvantage players. Generally, favorable incidents tend to emerge during daylight hours, whereas the night brings a higher probability of unfavorable happenings.
The game offers various boards, each distinctly different in background, narrative, and special elements. One such board is based on the Mugen Train, allowing players to travel across it as a mode of transportation.
