As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can say that Toby Fox’s announcement about Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4 coming out in 2025 feels like a ray of hope in the midst of a long, dark tunnel. Having been captivated by Undertale and its sequel, Deltarune, I eagerly awaited each chapter with bated breath. The suspense has been unbearable, but Toby’s recent tweet gives me a glimmer of hope that the end is finally in sight.
The creator of Deltarune, Toby Fox, has affirmed that Chapters 3 and 4 of the game are set to be launched in the coming year.
Fox expressed great excitement about revealing our six-year project on Twitter, assuring it will be completed by 2025 with Chapters 3 and 4 included. However, he noted that the exact release date is dependent on localization and console porting processes. He emphasized his eagerness to finally share the work, using an analogy of waiting impatiently to escape a confined space.

Initially, Chapter 1 of Deltarune came out in 2018, followed by Chapter 2 in 2021. Currently, you can enjoy these first two chapters for free on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The upcoming Chapters 3, 4, and 5 will be paid versions, but the prices haven’t been revealed yet. At least we now have an idea about when more of the game will come out.
Deltarune is a sequel to the massively popular game, Undertale, and there are similarities between them. Interestingly, their names are anagrams of one another, and in Deltarune, you’ll find variations of some characters originally found in Undertale.
As a gamer, I can’t help but share my excitement over Deltarune Chapter 2 making TopMob’s Best of 2021! TopMob nailed it when they said these chapters are impossible to put down. Once I started playing, I found myself compelled to keep going, unable to stop until I reached the final destination.
