Delta Force Caters to Players Who Don't Like to Start Everything Over and Over Again

As a seasoned gamer who has spent countless hours in the grimy underbelly of extraction shooters, I find myself captivated by the innovative approach taken by Team Jade with their upcoming title, Delta Force. The ability to opt for a character reset or maintain progress at the end of each season is a game-changer that caters to both the hardcore grinders and those who prefer a more casual experience.

At the conclusion of every three-month period, known as a season, Team Jade – the group behind the extraction shooter Delta Force – has opted to empower players who prefer non-cyclical progression. This means that the players themselves will decide whether they want their characters to undergo a reset (wipe) or not.

This approach caters to players who find character development time-consuming or unappealing, opting instead for the benefits of their online persona. To keep things fair, those who prefer the traditional reset will receive unique perks and abilities. One such advantage is the power to resurrect within a boss’s body wielding potent weapons, mirroring the steps taken by Team Jade in line with the creators of Escape from Tarkov.

On December 5th of this year, Delta Force is set to debut on PC via Early Access. This action-packed game will operate under a free-to-play model, similar to other multiplayer competitive titles, but it will also offer a season pass. Notably, the developers have planned three distinct versions for players:

The final option is the Deluxe edition, which is supposed to include the mentioned extras at a more favorable price of $9.60. In each of the paid options, a new look for the Shepard character will be available. The free version, on the other hand, is guaranteed to include, among others, an operator nicknamed Toxik.

He isn’t shy about delving into diverse subjects, but he has a particular fondness for news revolving around independent productions in the vein of Disco Elysium. As a child, he penned fantasy tales, spent countless hours riding Pegasus, and later moved on to computer games. He transformed his enthusiasm into a vocation, becoming an editor of a gaming portal co-managed with a friend, as well as a copywriter and consultant in a console store. Remakes and long-running series hold little appeal for him. Since childhood, he has harbored the dream of writing a novel; however, he excels more at crafting characters than constructing plots. This could be why he developed a fondness for role-playing games (both paper and digital). Raised in the 90s, he often finds himself yearning for that era to return. Tarantino films, Mad Max, and the first Fallout drew him into the post-apocalyptic world, while Berserk sparked his interest in dark fantasy. In the present, he is venturing into e-commerce and marketing, all the while lending support to the Newsroom on weekends, which enables him to maintain his long-standing passions.
