Delroy Lindo Says Marvel Was ‘Really Interested’ In His Input For the ‘Blade’ Reboot Until the Film ‘Went Off the Rails’

Delroy Lindo was eager to assist Marvel with the much-anticipated “Blade” reboot, but things took a turn for the worse.

During a recent chat with Entertainment Weekly, Lindo, previously linked to the Marvel remake, shared insights about the challenges slowing down the progress of the much-anticipated vampire movie that’s been facing delays.

Lindo shared that when Marvel approached him, they showed genuine curiosity about his ideas. Feige expressed his fondness for the character and Mahershala’s portrayal of it at the time. He also promised transparency: whenever there are changes in a project or uncertainties about its schedule, he ensures the audience is kept informed. As of now, you’re all caught up on the latest developments. However, I can confirm that the character will undoubtedly appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
