We’re thrilled to announce another collaboration with Idea Factory to bring Death end re;Quest Code Z to Nintendo Switch in English for Asian markets! This version features both English text and Japanese voice acting. Keep an eye on Playasia later this week for pre-order information on physical copies.

Eastasiasoft Limited is releasing a physical English version of Death end re;Quest Code Z, following their successful partnerships with Idea Factory on titles like Hyperdimension Neptunia and Hakuoki. This game is a standalone story, meaning you don’t need to have played previous titles to enjoy it – it’s a great starting point for new players and a treat for long-time fans. You play as Sayaka Hiwatari, who finds herself in a parallel universe and must navigate a dangerous area called the Strain Area to save her friends before losing her mind. Like other games in the series, Death end re;Quest Code Z features multiple ways for Sayaka to fail, but each attempt allows her to learn and become stronger, giving her a better chance on future dungeon runs.

Pre-orders for physical copies of the Nintendo Switch game will begin this Thursday, April 16th at 11:00 PM Hong Kong time on Playasia. A limited run of only 2000 copies will be available for $59.99 (plus shipping), and each includes the game, a manual, a soundtrack CD, an art book, Joy-Con stickers, a mini case, an acrylic standee, and a numbered certificate all packaged in a collector’s box. This Limited Edition won’t be reprinted once it’s sold out. Standard copies will be available for $39.99. After launch, you’ll also be able to find the game at select stores in Southeast Asia.
