Deadpool & Wolverine Walmart-Exclusive Limited-Edition Blu-Ray Preorders Are Live

As a die-hard fan of both Deadpool and Wolverine, I’d jump at the chance to get my hands on this exciting movie! The bonus features sound absolutely fantastic – especially the one where we can learn how to get a checkup with Deadpool, that’s something I’ve always wanted to know!

The biggest live-action box office draw of 2024 is now available to watch on your couch at home. Deadpool & Wolverine is now available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime Video and other digital-on-demand services, but you may want to wait a few weeks for the Blu-ray release on October 22. The digital version costs $30 to own and $25 to rent. While this pricing structure is normal for blockbusters, all of the physical editions of Deadpool & Wolverine come bundled with a digital copy.

As of October 1, Walmart stands alone among major retailers accepting preorders for physical editions. You have the opportunity to purchase in advance the 4K Blu-ray edition of Deadpool & Wolverine at a reasonable price of $30; this version includes both regular Blu-ray and digital editions. Meanwhile, Walmart offers another exclusive Blu-ray edition for preorder at $34.70. This edition also comes with standard Blu-ray and digital copies along with Deadpool pop-up art in a sleeve.

We’re yet to launch the preorders for the high-definition 4K editions enclosed in steelbook cases. These will be priced higher than the physical versions currently available for preorder at Walmart, but they are likely to draw a crowd due to their popularity. It’s anticipated that both the steelbook editions, one for Deadpool and one for Wolverine, as well as the Walmart-exclusive Blu-ray, will swiftly run out of stock.

You have two options for special editions of the movie in 4K UHD format. They share identical bonus material, but they each come with unique steelcase covers. One of these is styled after Deadpool, showcasing an energetic action shot on its cover and a crimson interior. The extra features include commentary from director Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds, a collection of deleted scenes, and several behind-the-scenes documentaries about the successful movie.

Deadpool & Wolverine 4K Blu-ray Steelbook – Wolverine Variant

This option provides the exact same content as the Deadpool version, but it switches out the cover character for Wolverine and boasts a bright yellow interior design. So, you can choose which 4K steelbook best suits your collection, or go for whichever one is available in stock. Just like the Deadpool variant, this one isn’t open for ordering yet, and Amazon hasn’t set up its listing page just yet.
