In addition to being an essential addition for Tokyo Ghoul enthusiasts, Dead by Daylight’s latest Killer boasts a formidable arsenal that might even make seasoned Survivors shriek with fear.
On March 11, 2025, DbD announced that the bloodthirsty anime character Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul will be causing chaos in a terrifying new collaboration. Although this half-human, half-ghoul character won’t become available until April 2, his game kit appears incredibly menacing and is definitely something Killer fans should keep an eye on.
One reason The Ghoul is both terrifying and enjoyable to play is his fleshy tentacles, which enable Ken to swiftly lunge towards his terrified victims. Imagine Kagune Leap as being similar to Attack on Titan’s ODM gear, but instead of using a grappling hook to propel yourself through the air, you have a pair of slippery tentacles.
DbD’s new Killer set to leave a bloody mark

Seizing nearby items and ambushing an unaware target is every bit as thrilling as it seems, particularly when you successfully execute your second Kagune Leap on a Survivor. This maneuver will cause you to pierce their flesh with your tentacle, inflicting a Deep Wound and leaving a Kagune Mark behind.
Activating Enraged Mode for The Ghoul will provide you with multiple powerful jumps, making him potentially incredibly formidable. However, it’s too soon to predict his ranking in the Dead by Daylight Killer tier list. With Ken’s impressive mobility, he could be a force to reckon with. When Enraged Mode is activated, you’ll find yourself darting across the map as if a bloodthirsty Spider-Man determined to silence J. Jonah Jameson’s criticisms.
In Dead by Daylight (DbD), being a Killer can be quite challenging due to the task of catching your prey. It’s much like showing up uninvited to a birthday party. But Ken Kaneki takes this classic Killer issue and spins it around, plunging right into the birthday cake, so to speak. He’s not going anywhere – whether you welcome him or not. What’s more, he’s well-equipped to chase you relentlessly.

In other words, it seems like he might get entangled by a tree or some misplaced container with his tentacle. It’s surprising to consider that Ken Kaneki’s main adversary could be inert objects instead.
After ironing out initial issues, Dead by Daylight’s latest Killer boasts one of the goriest Moris I’ve encountered, guaranteed to make even the strongest stomachs churn. Should you successfully pursue your terrified target, you’ll gain access to one of THE most merciless finishers in the game.
In this scene, the monstrous Ghoul’s lair witnesses an eerie spectacle as the grotesque, semi-human creature gracefully seizes his hapless Victim. He then pierces their body with his tentacles and jumps onto them to devour their flesh. It’s so excessively gruesome that it comes close to outdoing Mortal Kombat in terms of violence.
For fans of Tokyo Ghoul or those seeking a fresh Killer character, prepare yourself as The Ghoul prepares to unleash carnage in Dead by Daylight starting April 2, 2025.
