As a veteran gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the return of Dead by Daylight’s Chaos Shuffle mode has me buzzing like a generator in the dark! The thrill of random perks and the unpredictability of each game is a breath of fresh air in this world where everything seems to be scripted.
I’m thrilled to share that my beloved game, Dead by Daylight, has announced its September roadmap on Twitter! The much-loved Chaos Shuffle mode is making a comeback, and I can hardly wait! This exciting mode will grace our screens from September 24 all the way until October 8, offering us players a full two weeks to immerse ourselves in it. Can’t wait to jump back into the action!

As a thrill-seeking gamer, I can’t help but get excited about the Chaos Shuffle randomizer mode in this game. It throws me a fresh set of perks, whether I’m on the side of the killer or the survivor. Rumors are swirling that the next version will bring even more twists to the regular gameplay, keeping things unpredictable and fun!
At this point, we don’t know if the Chaos Shuffle event tome along with its temporary rewards will make a comeback. Instead, there’s a chance that the creators might introduce a brand new reward system instead.
Apart from the much-anticipated comeback of Chaos Shuffle, another classic mode making its return is Lights Out Mode in Dead by Daylight. This second round of Lights Out will introduce unique changes, such as the addition of a lantern item that survivors can set up, which killers can then kick. This limited-time mode begins early in September, specifically from the 12th.
Many players will no doubt be excited about the return of both Chaos Shuffle and Lights Out. In fact, we’d love to see one of these modes become permanent. For now, though, players will be able to try them out for a week each when they return this September.
