The Dead by Daylight Community Cosmetic Contest is returning for 2024, allowing players to create their ideal cosmetics for both killers and survivors. Although this event has been running for some time, the 2024 edition introduces a change. In place of the Killer and Survivor Charm categories from past years, there will be new categories – Badges and Banners.
As a long-time gamer and beauty enthusiast, I am beyond excited to share the news that the Design a Cosmetic Contests are back! As someone who has spent countless hours immersed in virtual worlds, I can attest to the power of cosmetics in enhancing the gaming experience. The thought of being able to wear the winning entries from this contest in my favorite game is almost too good to be true. This is a fantastic opportunity for artists and designers to showcase their creativity and talent, while also giving players like me the chance to express ourselves in new and exciting ways within our games. 2024 marks a new era in this tournament as players will now have the opportunity to cast their votes for their preferred cosmetics during the final stages. Previously, the developers decided on the winning cosmetics based on fan submissions, without incorporating a player voting round.

The Community Cosmetic Contests began in 2019, introducing Demon Slayer Feng Min and Mr. Puddles Clown skins to the game that year. In 2023, the winning cosmetic for a killer was the Pagliacci skin for the Clown character, accompanied by a trendy streetwear outfit for Yun-Jin.
