DDA Further Expands New York Team With Key Hires From Hiltzik Strategies (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned cinephile with a deep appreciation for the intricate world of public relations and communications, I find myself thoroughly impressed by the strategic moves made by DDA, a marketing and communications agency that seems to be rapidly expanding its horizons. The recent hire of Chloe Srivastava and her team from Hiltzik Strategies is particularly noteworthy.

The marketing and communication firm, DDA, has expanded its American activities by recruiting a team of four individuals who will be part of the recently created New York branch.

Four professionals, Chloe Srivastava, Meghan Kilkenny, Emma Tomas, and Caroline Tomaselli, are joining DDA’s team from Hiltzik Strategies. They will strengthen our corporation communications division, reporting to LA-based partner Dana Archer. Furthermore, they will collaborate with Monique Levine, the vice president who heads our international corporate and special projects team based in London.

At Hiltzik, Srivastava held the position of Senior Vice President for a decade. During her tenure, she established and expanded the firm’s finance and technology communications division, catering to clients in various sectors such as venture capital, private equity, sports, creator economy, AI, and fintech. Before Hiltzik, Srivastava was involved in developing corporate and crisis communication strategies for Robinhood, Intuit, Etsy, and Meta at Outcast. Now, she has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communication at DDA.

In regard to our corporate communications, a crucial aspect of our business, we’ve been seeking the right individual in the U.S. to grow and enhance this area, both within and beyond the entertainment industry,” mentioned Archer on behalf of the board. “Upon meeting Chloe, we were captivated by her business sense, connections, and demonstrated success. Her abilities align perfectly with our brand, and she brings an exceptional team consisting of Meghan, Emma, and Caroline, each with diverse expertise essential to DDA’s expansion across various industries.

Through her experience at Hiltzik, Wachsman, FleishmanHillard, and The Ironman Group, where she managed global and corporate communications, Kilkenny has counseled both companies and prominent figures on both offensive and defensive PR tactics. Now, she takes on a new role as the Director of Corporate Communications at DDA.

Prior to working at DDA, Tomas served as an account manager within the technology and finance department at Hiltzik. Her professional journey commenced at CounterPoint Strategies, where she specialized in crisis management and responses to issues. Now, Tomas has been appointed as an account director at DDA.

At Hiltzik Strategies, Tomaselli held the position of Account Manager within the Technology and Finance team. There, she collaborated with notable corporations, emerging businesses, and influential individuals to create strategic communication plans, designing forward-thinking strategies and thought leadership initiatives for her clients. Now, she takes on a new role as an Account Manager at DDA.

Last month, DDA’s New York office broadened its horizons by establishing a domestic film and television publicity department. They brought on Katie Conklin as senior account director and Madison Tobin as senior account executive to lead this new sector. The company, which started in New York just five months ago with Dan Salerno at the helm of the creative services team consisting of Paige Gurski and consultant Rachel Effendy, is now expanding its operations.

At DDA’s primary office in London, DDA has established a new live content division, bringing on board industry veterans Richard Adamson and Louis Kemsley. Additionally, they have introduced a gaming PR department headed by Gemma Cooper, who previously worked at Media Molecule. As part of their continuous expansion, the company has also welcomed Julie La’Bassiere, a highly regarded awards expert and former BAFTA deputy chair, as their chief strategy officer. Furthermore, Carola Ash, a former executive from AMPAS, has joined DDA as the director of international awards outreach.
