In this survival MMO, companions like Followers and Thralls have been crucial, but the Era of Heroes introduces two fully-voiced character companions, Liu Fei and Freya the Aesir warrior. These voice-acted companions possess unique traits that influence their abilities, which can be unlocked based on choices made during their storyline. Therefore, it’s essential to take note of these details as their skill sets will be shaped accordingly.
Funcom has introduced an update to the game that transforms Thralls from stationary workstation enhancements into interactive Non-Player Characters (NPCs) within their settlements, who now have requirements and responses to their surroundings. This innovative feature is called Living Settlements, where the worker Thralls are liberated, leading to the development of a dynamic cityscape. However, this transformation also brings new difficulties.
