Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy appeared in a March episode of Family Guy, but there’s a big catch.

For several years now, Dave Portnoy, the boss of Barstool Sports, has significantly impacted pizza shop owners across the U.S. through his ‘One Bite Pizza Review’ video series.

He’s accumulated more than 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube primarily due to his frequent video reviews, and remarkably, he managed to prevent a store from shutting down in December 2024 by providing its owner with a generous $60,000 donation.

Notably, Portnoy’s critiques have garnered widespread appeal to the extent that the head honcho at Barstool Sports even made a guest appearance in a Family Guy episode dated March 2025. Yet, it didn’t take long for viewers to notice a problem within his segment.

In the course of that particular event, Stewie and Chris established a small pizzeria within their own backyard, which swiftly became a local favorite in their community.

A long queue attracted many people to post about the pizza online. Naturally, it piqued the interest of Dave Portnoy, causing him to visit the temporary eatery to taste Stewie’s pizza.

The twist is that the narrator’s voice for Portnoy’s character isn’t really Barstool Sports CEO’s own voice. It remains a mystery who provided that voice in the episode, since IMDb does not disclose such details.

A multitude of supporters rushed to comment on Barstool’s post, eagerly expressing their opinions, and many were thrilled at the prospect of seeing him appear on the program.

User found the video entertaining, but felt that the voice actor didn’t resemble Dave, whom they expected.
