Date’s Dreamy Drama Theater mini-Series revealed for No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files

Today, Spike Chunsoft unveiled a 5-episode mini-series titled “Kaname Date’s Dreamy Drama Theater,” which they will be releasing one episode per week in the run-up to the launch of “No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files“. This series features characters from the game navigating comical scenarios and integrating aspects of the game. The first episode, titled “Quiz Show,” is out now, with subsequent episodes 2 through 5 scheduled to be published weekly on Spike Chunsoft’s YouTube channel at 10AM Pacific Time.

Kaname Date won’t be getting any shut-eye soon – “AI: The Somnium Files” is set to launch on July 25 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam). Keep an eye out for our review in the upcoming weeks.

Celebrity chef Iris and her admirer, Ota Matsushita, engage in a culinary competition. With Ota managing a restaurant and serving as the teacher, the duo embarks on this gastronomic adventure. However, the roles become blurred when Iris incorporates some unexpected ingredients into their dishes.

Episode 3:  24 Hour Policing
Premieres: July 1 at 10:00 am PDT

As a gamer immersed in a thrilling narrative, I find myself assuming the role of Officer Date, determined to force entry into Ota’s eatery. I’ve got my sights set on Ota, and I’m issuing a stern warning, urging him to comply with my demands and open the door without delay. The tension between us is palpable, and it seems like we’re edging closer to a heated showdown.

Episode 4:  Driving School
Premieres: July 8 at 10:00 am PDT

Iris starts her driving lessons using Date’s vehicle, but before long, they both find themselves in a potentially perilous predicament. Will they manage to navigate their way out of harm’s way?

Episode 5: Another World
Premieres: July 15 at 10:00 am PDT

In some strange twist of fate, Ota finds himself born anew in another realm. Eagerly, he dashes to save Iris, ensnared within a gadget that bears a striking resemblance to something familiar, yet…!
