Arc Games has released a free demo for Frosthaven for Steam Next Fest on PC.
Starting today until June 16th, this demo is accessible on Steam. This is the initial public demonstration for the dark fantasy tactical RPG. The demo offers both online cooperative multiplayer and single-player options. Additionally, it will be compatible with GeForce Now. Get ready! It’s almost time to unlock the doors and allow gamers worldwide to preview FROSTHAVEN through our demo, set for release on June 9 during Steam Next Fest: June Edition. As CEO of Snapshot Games, Julian Gollop shared this exciting news. We found the feedback from our closed beta testing a few months ago invaluable, particularly from fans of both the FROSTHAVEN board game and the Gloomhaven video game. The support and suggestions we received were phenomenal! Players praised our adaptation and offered insightful ideas on how to enhance it further. FROSTHAVEN will continue to develop and grow, and this demo will provide more players with an opportunity to help shape the game before its launch in PC Early Access later this year.
Starting from June 9 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ending on June 16 at the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the first demo of Frosthaven through Steam. This demo offers both single-player and online cooperative multiplayer for 2 to 4 players. It provides a sneak peek into what awaits when the game enters Early Access this year. The demo features four distinct starting character classes, strategic quests including tutorial missions, a variety of items, and the chance to create your own Outpost by building structures and completing events that will unlock additional game elements.
In this upcoming demonstration, you’ll find numerous enhancements to both user interface and gameplay mechanics, taking into account feedback from our Closed Beta participants. Unlike the Beta version, this demo will incorporate voiceover narration courtesy of Forteller Games, renowned for their captivating Narrative Companion in board games. We’re excited to collaborate with Forteller as they help deepen players’ FROSTHAVEN experience through immersive audio storytelling, making the frozen north even more engaging.
