Daniel Radcliffe Joins Tracy Morgan in NBC Comedy Pilot From ’30 Rock’ Team

Actor Daniel Radcliffe is set to appear alongside comedian Tracy Morgan in a forthcoming NBC comedy series, according to our latest information.

Originally scheduled for release in March, an unnamed one-camera pilot features a story about a former football player named Morgan, who’s trying to restore his reputation.

Radcliffe takes on the role of Arthur Tobin, a distinguished movie director who relocates to Reggie’s estate to produce a compelling documentary featuring the retired football standout.

Previously mentioned, this series signifies a reunion from “30 Rock”. Notably, Morgan will star in it, while Robert Carlock and Sam Means are involved as writers and executive producers for the pilot. Tina Fey also assumes the role of executive producer. Carlock is attached as executive producer through Bevel Gears. Rhys Thomas, an alumnus of “SNL”, will oversee the project as executive producer and director of the pilot. Eric Gurian from Fey’s Little Stranger production company and David Miner from 3 Arts are also on board as executive producers. Universal Television, where Tina Fey has a multi-project deal, is responsible for its production.

Previously, Daniel Radcliffe collaborated with Fey, Carlock, and Means on the Netflix interactive film “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend.” He’s also been seen in the comedy series “Miracle Workers” and a variety of comedic films such as “Swiss Army Man,” “The Al Yankovic Story,” and “The Lost City.” Daniel Radcliffe, however, is primarily recognized for his portrayal of the lead character in the Harry Potter film series, spanning eight movies from 2001 to 2011. In total, these films amassed close to $8 billion globally.

Radcliffe is repped by Artist Rights Group, Avalon Management, and Felker Toczek.
