Dancing With The Stars Season 34: Here’s How The 14 Celebrities Rank On Streaming After Week 1

Season 34 of *Dancing with the Stars* began on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, with a new group of celebrities performing dances inspired by their personal stories. Unlike previous seasons, no one was eliminated after the first night. Now, over three days later, videos of their performances are available on YouTube and are already getting a lot of views.

It’s hard to say exactly how many people watched on Disney+, but the numbers from YouTube suggest a clear leader, with a significant gap between first place and everyone else. Robert Irwin, brother of *Dancing with the Stars* champion Bindi Irwin, performed a jive with professional dancer Witney Carson to Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild.”

Even though I haven’t watched *Dancing with the Stars* in years, this duo was definitely one of my favorites. As of Friday evening, their performance had already gotten 1.2 million views on the show’s YouTube channel – and that number was still rising! You can see how all the dancers are doing based on their views, and it’s clear that this duo has significantly more views than anyone else.

Although anything can happen before the winner of Season 34 is revealed, Robert Irwin is already proving to be a hit with viewers online. By the time “One-Hit Wonders Night” airs on September 23rd, he’s likely to be a standout favorite. Witney Carson hasn’t won since Alfonso Ribeiro way back in Season 19 – could she and Robert make a winning team? Check out their energetic jive from the first episode!

I used the number of likes to separate Dylan Efron and Jordan Chiles in my ranking, since they both had the same number of views when I checked. Efron had 1,900 likes, which I hope will keep him in the competition long enough to perform a *High School Musical* dance, while Chiles had 1,700 likes.

I was a bit disappointed to see that Andy Richter’s performance didn’t get much attention right after the latest season of Dancing with the Stars premiered. While I don’t expect him to win, his energetic cha-cha to Sam & Dave’s “Hold On, I’m Comin'” with Emma Slater was definitely one of the most enjoyable dances of the night.

I’m interested in tracking how viewership numbers change over the coming weeks. On *Dancing with the Stars*, success isn’t about YouTube views – it’s based on scores from the judges and votes from viewers. I’m particularly watching Elaine Hendrix, Hilaria Baldwin, and Whitney Leavitt, as they all have prior dance experience, which makes me lean towards supporting the other contestants.
