CD Projekt Red has formally unveiled a collaboration between Cyberpunk 2077 and the action-packed shooter game, Arena Breakout: Infinite.
I’m thrilled to report that the buzz surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 has been reignited after a series of significant updates! At Anime Expo 2025, CD Projekt Red dropped an exciting piece of news: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 is underway! A fresh team of actors and creators has been assembled to bring this anticipated sequel to life.
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that the developers have just released update 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077, enriching our gameplay experience with vehicle upgrades and refining the photo mode. On top of that, they’re already deep into the early stages of Project Orion, which promises even more exciting times ahead!
Currently, the widely acclaimed sci-fi game is joining forces with Arena Breakout: Infinite, an action-packed tactical extraction shooter designed for PC. This new collaboration aspires to challenge even established games such as Escape from Tarkov.
Cyberpunk 2077 x Arena Breakout: Infinite crossover
On July 20, 2025, the partnership was unveiled via a sneak peek video titled “Welcome to Night City, Operators,” which was uploaded onto the official Arena Breakout: Infinite YouTube channel and various social media outlets.
The brief film portrays a character exiting a vehicle, clad in the Samurai jacket from Cyberpunk 2077. A car reminiscent of the Cyberpunk genre flashes by momentarily. Although gameplay isn’t demonstrated in this trailer, it hints at the availability of customizable cosmetics and well-known weapons for players to utilize.

Shortly following the release of the trailer, Cyberpunk’s official social media account announced their collaboration. Their post read: “Join us in Night City, Operators! The merging of Cyberpunk 2077 and Arena Breakout: Infinite is on its way!
Following the unveiling of the closed beta for Arena Breakout: Infinite, players were first introduced to its unique extraction-style gameplay. This initial phase offered a sneak peek into the game’s future features as it transitions out of early access.
