CD Projekt Red has disclosed that the game Cyberpunk 2077 will be released for macOS this coming Thursday, specifically on July 17, under the title of the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.
The open-world RPG developed by CD Projekt Red will be accessible not just on the Mac App Store, but also on platforms like GOG and Steam for those who already own it. This new version is compatible with macOS devices powered by Apple Silicon (M series chips) that have 16GB or more of RAM. The Ultimate Edition offers both the main game and an expansion called Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
This announcement follows closely behind CD Projekt Red’s revelation about the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 anime series, as well as adding the game to the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog.
The enhanced version of Cyberpunk 2077, titled the “Ultimate Edition,” is now playable on Nintendo Switch 2 as of July 17. Meanwhile, it’s already accessible on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC systems.
