Cyberpunk 2077 Is Getting Its Own Arcade Game

Towards the close of 2024, CD Projekt Red started moving away from working on updates for Cyberpunk 2077, instead focusing their efforts on fully developing The Witcher 4. While a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 is in the works, it won’t be available for quite some time yet. In the interim, enthusiasts eager to explore the world of Cyberpunk once more will need to seek out an entertainment venue that offers the Cyberpunk 2077 Turf Wars arcade game.

I may not be the one who crafted the intricate shooter game Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red, but I did applaud LAI Games as they built their “next-gen futuristic tactile shooter,” Turf Wars. Furthermore, a sneak peek at Turf Wars unveiled that it has three different modes: story mode, co-op/versus mode, and sniper mode.

Due to a decline in the number of arcades across the United States, places such as Dave & Buster’s, Chuck E. Cheese, and movie theaters with gaming sections might be the best options for installing an arcade cabinet of this scale domestically. Moreover, it’s highly improbable that this experience will be replicated on home consoles.

Towards the end of last year, Sebastian Kalemba, director of The Witcher 4, expressed that CD Project Red had taken valuable lessons from the rocky debut of Cyberpunk 2077. Currently, a follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 is being worked on in its early stages, and future plans for the franchise include both live-action and anime adaptations.
