Just a heads up, the new version of “Wuthering Waves,” titled “In Turquoise Moonglow,” is on its way! They’ve mentioned the highly anticipated custom lock-on priority setting and the ability to run the game at 120 FPS. Can’t wait to dive in!

Custom lock-on and 120FPS are coming to Wuthering Waves 1.2

In the discussion about update v1.2, developers have highlighted a significant addition – the introduction of a customizable lock-on feature. This new option can be found under the Control settings within the game. Here, players will find the Lock-on Priority option with choices such as Movement Direction, Camera Direction, and Distance (as shown in the image above). With this setting, you now have the ability to adjust the priorities for automatic lock-on according to your preferred method.

120 FPS only for some GPUs?

The upcoming major enhancement involves enabling a 120 FPS option on certain PC devices, and the general response from the community has been favorable. A well-known Reddit user praised the developers for taking their suggestions into account, specifically mentioning the custom lock-on feature. The developer later clarified that the 120 FPS option might only be available for GPUs that support DLSS, but another user argued it may not be related to DLSS at all, but rather the refresh rate of the player’s monitor. For now, we can only wait for further information to confirm these details.

Waveplate improvements ahoy

In our updated store, you’ll gain Waveplate Crystals whenever you reach the maximum limit for storing Waveplates. You’ll receive one Waveplate Crystal every 12 minutes, until you’ve accumulated a total of 480 Waveplate Crystals. These crystals can be traded in for standard Waveplates of equal value.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled about the upcoming enhancements in Wuthering Waves v1.2! Starting with the Hoverdroid: Shooter Utility, I can now attach it to my Utility Wheel and unleash it by tapping or holding down the fire button. Additionally, the Resonator Showcase is a fantastic new feature that lets me check out the captivating scenes of up to three unlocked Resonators.
