As a seasoned crypto investor and globe-trotter with a penchant for both digital assets and travel, I find this latest development by Crypto.com absolutely thrilling! The ability to convert my cryptocurrencies into hotel points is not just a game-changer – it’s a bridge between the virtual world of crypto and the tangible realm of travel experiences.

Crypto.com has recently formed a groundbreaking alliance with Accor’s loyalty program, ALL. This collaboration allows users to exchange their cryptocurrency for points that can be utilized for various travel-related expenses, such as hotel reservations and travel rewards. This innovative partnership is set to transform the way we experience travel. With this new feature, Crypto.com users will find it simple to employ their digital assets in booking accommodations and redeeming travel rewards.

Initially, the service will cater to users based in the UK, EU, and Switzerland during its initial rollout. However, it aims to extend its reach to other international destinations down the line. Crypto.com offers a unique feature where you can convert over 20 different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), and its native Crypto.com Coin ($CRO), into loyalty points for stays at over 5,600 hotels spread across more than 110 countries worldwide.

Crypto Meets Travel in Complete Intermix

Crypto.com’s President and COO, Eric Anziani, expressed his pride about this achievement, saying, “We are thrilled to have reached this milestone and are excited to be partnering with ALL to make crypto a part of daily life.” He further explained that this collaboration represents a long-term vision and anticipates future redemption possibilities for all members, enabling them to redeem loyalty points in the form of cryptocurrencies.

Mehdi Hemici, Head of Loyalty and E-commerce at Accor, stated that this partnership extends new opportunities for Crypto.com users. Now, they can gain access to Accor hotel deals. This collaboration will facilitate smoother solutions for travelers who prefer using cryptocurrency for their travel experiences.

The platform is working to draw and keep users by providing a 10% refund in cash for members who convert their cryptocurrencies into loyalty points. This perk starts today as part of the program’s introduction.

Within the Crypto.com app, you’ll find a newly introduced function. This empowers users to transform their current cryptocurrency holdings into rewards points according to their ALL membership tier numbers. This innovative feature aims to connect the crypto world with reality by providing more avenues for users to utilize their digital assets, particularly for travel purposes.
