In every level of Crime Scene Cleaner, you’ll discover hidden items and treasures. As you move forward in the game, you’ll usually earn accomplishments by doing so. However, certain achievements can only be unlocked within specific stages.
Chapter 0: Bad Call
- Secrets: 3
- Cassette Tapes: 3
In the opening chapter, you’ll find yourself guided through the process of effectively cleaning crime scenes as a Crime Scene Cleaner, learning techniques to remove all traces of evidence. The journey begins with a phone call from your friend’s son, Tyler, who unintentionally finds himself in a tricky situation.
Upon entering the structure, locate the apartment key hidden underneath a container on the shelf positioned to your right next to the entrance door. Retrieve the key, insert it into the lock, and turn it to open the door. Once inside, you’re free to commence with your cleaning tasks.
The initial proof we have is a phone lying on the living room floor. Remember to press ‘E’ and pick it up for logging purposes, as simply picking it up without pressing ‘E’ won’t log it.
As I venture into the house, I spot another phone sitting on a shelf in the dining room before I reach the kitchen. The chilling sight of my first victim lies within this very kitchen, and a knife stuck deep within the corpse serves as the third piece of evidence.
Achievement: This is How We Do It
Wash off your first blood stain
Search for the fourth item of proof on the window ledge in the kitchen area. After you finish cleaning up, don’t forget to venture into the room just beyond the kitchen, where you’ll find the money Tyler left for you – this will be your final piece of evidence.
Once you grab the envelope, glance to your upper-right side to spot a bleeding trapdoor. Give the attached string a yank, revealing another deceased individual falling down from above.
Climb the staircase ahead, and you’ll stumble upon an unspoken hideaway – an attic. In this concealed space, you’ll be required to discover four additional clues and ultimately, the third and concluding corpse.
Achievement: Bitter Sweet Symphony
Play a music cassette for the first time
The initial two pieces of proof, which consist of some disturbing images, can be found on the corkboard straight ahead when you step into the attic. After gathering them, search to your left to locate a Cassette Tape sitting on the table near the radio.
Check the room filled with marijuana plants to locate the third corpse. Before dismantling, glance towards your right on a compact table to find the first piece of evidence (a camera). The second piece of evidence, the victim’s student ID, is located at the back of this room on another small table.
Achievement: Dirty Deeds Done Cheap
Get this achievement when you complete the Bad Call mission
Secret #1
To discover the initial hidden area, head inside the building and ascend one set of stairs. Search for an open window adorned with flower pots on its sill to your right side. Duck beneath this window and follow the railing as you move toward the left.
Land on the roof then turn left immediately to find a little spot someone set up to play cards.
Secret #2
As a gamer, I stumbled upon a hidden gem – the second secret zone! Inside the apartment, I spotted a room opposite the bathroom. There, I found a boarded-up window made of wood. With a swift kick, I shattered those boards and ventured through the broken frame. Balancing carefully on the railing, I traversed the building until I reached the construction lift on the other side.
Achievement: Bóbr k*rw@!
Smash wooden boards to get this achievement
Go downstairs, then scan the area in front of you for a window with wooden planks. Knock down the planks and gain entry through the window. Inside the room, you’ll notice a cassette tape sitting on a shelf near an altar.
Secret #3
To reach the concealed final chamber, here’s what you should do:
Head towards the open space beneath the construction elevator that led you to the hidden second area earlier. You’ll find the second lucky key beside a baseball on a box within this area. However, stay put for now, since you’ll need the keys you’ve already discovered to unlock the gate in this spot.
Unlock the initial gate using your first key, then proceed into the recently discovered zone. You’ll encounter a second gate which can be opened with the additional key you’ve uncovered. Grab the Cassette Tape sitting on the heater, and you’ve unearthed all hidden items in the initial mission.
Make sure to grab the fertilizer in this room to get the Strawberry Fields Forever achievement.
Achievement: Bad Call

Chapter 1: Trial By Blood
- Secrets: 2
- Cassette Tapes: 3
Achievement: Who Let the Dogs Out
Pet Dexter, your dog at home, to get this achievement
In your debut role with Big Jim, it appears that Miko’s Spa & Wellness is in disarray under his management. Upon entering the establishment, you’ll find that the main entrance is blocked. Start by tidying up the initial room, then proceed to the men’s restroom.
In this area, you’ll find a group of lockers that are currently unopenable for now. However, you can access the main building by moving forward and passing through the second door beyond the showers.
Two items of significance are located near the swimming pool: a cellphone and an ice pick. To drain the pool, you must navigate through a door that can only be unlocked by a code. Cracking the code is relatively straightforward; you simply need to press the numbers shown at the bottom when the line intersects them at the top.
Upon entering this room, please adjust the wrenches connected to the pipes located on the right side of the wall, followed by pressing the button on the electric panel. This action will empty the pool. Before you depart, don’t forget to pick up the Cassette Tape sitting on the desk next to the computer.
As a gamer, I stumbled upon my third clue – a gun submerged in the swimming pool. After tidying up that zone, the fourth clue awaits in the tranquility room to your right of the central hall – it’s a pizza slicer.
The last few pieces of evidence can only be found if you collect all of the member cards to open the lockers we mentioned previously. Here is where to find them all:
- Member Card 1: In the first open locker in the men’s bathroom.
- Member Card 2: On the floor in the main relaxation room, near the front door.
- Member Card 3: On a towel stack in the room with the pizza cutter victim.
- Member Card 4: Inside the pool, sticking out of the vent.
- Member Card 5: In the pink room to the right of the main room, next to a towel stack.
- Member Card 6: On the floor in the Steam room.
After gathering all the cards, ensure to open the lockers in both the male and female restrooms. Inside, you’ll discover a Handgun, Business Card, and a Recording. Additionally, you might find a Cassette Tape hidden in one of the lockers.
Achievement: Relax, Take it Easy
Get this achievement by completing the Trial by Blood mission.
Secret #1
By unlocking all the lockers, you’ll find a VIP Member Card as well. Once you possess this card, return to the room where the pool was drained. On the wall next to the desk in that room, there will be a ‘VIP’ symbol, which you can now interact with, revealing some hidden information or features.
After experiencing it, you’ll earn the Gold on the Ceiling achievement. Make your way back to the pool area and notice a freshly opened room at the rear end that wasn’t there previously. Inside this room, you’ll discover another Cassette Tape (the final one), a Locker Card, and numerous valuable items to claim as your own.
Secret #2
Using the VIP Room Keycard, you can now unlock the final locker in the ladies’ restroom. Inside, you’ll discover some cash and a poster.
Achievement: Trial by Blood
Complete the Trial by Blood mission with a perfect score
Chapter 2: Toxic Love
- Secrets: 1
- Cassette Tapes: 2
In this relatively compact section of the map, there’s plenty to explore and uncover. Start by making your way to the kitchen and pick up the first crucial item you’ll find—a cellphone—on the countertop, acting as your initial evidence.
The second item of proof is a set of knuckle dusters scattered on the ground next to a pool of blood. To explore further, look to your left from where you discovered this evidence. There, you’ll find a large painting. Go near it and engage with it, as it conceals a hidden room containing another corpse.
In this room, you’ll discover not only its usual contents but also the electric control panel as well. Interact with it to activate power for the entire apartment, which will simultaneously unlock any doors that were previously secured. Don’t forget to retrieve the third piece of evidence – a notebook – from the desk located on the left side of the entrance.
Achievement: What I’ve Done
Destroy 30 objects
As I’m about to venture up to the first floor, keep an eye out for the first Cassette Tape hidden in the corner at the back of the ground level. It’s nestled snugly against the left wall, right where the living room begins.
Go up the stairs, then check the balcony or walkway area. The fourth piece of evidence, a cell phone, along with the fifth, a gun, can be found on the other side of the landing near the end of the floor.
The final evidence is situated beside the bathtub on the top floor of the bathroom. Initially hard to notice due to its covering in blood, it’s also near a radio, where the second Cassette Tape can be found hidden.
Achievement: Can You Feel My Heart
Get this achievement for completing the Toxic Love mission.
Secret #1
The sole secret lies concealed in the room where you previously activated the power (the secret painting room). Locate the chair positioned towards a wall-mounted painting, then engage with the painting to shift it and uncover a hidden safe.
To gain access to the safe, you’ll have to use some clever maneuvers or tricks. Once inside, you’ll discover valuable items and money that can be yours. Additionally, achieving this feat will grant you the “Get Lucky” recognition.
Achievement: Toxic Love
Complete the Toxic Love mission with a perfect score
Chapter 3: Short Circuit
- Secrets: 2
- Cassette Tapes: 2
In the Crime Scene Cleaner’s current chapter, there are elements reminiscent of a spooky mansion, so be on the lookout for some startling moments while navigating this stage.
Upon your arrival, take a glance back and locate a chair with a nearby potted plant. A speaker is positioned beside the plant, making it the initial clue or indicator in your investigation.
Achievement: Happy Together
Pet Dexter 15 times
As an enthusiastic detective, I suggest heading up the stairs and embarking on a cleaning spree, keeping an eye out for the second clue that I suspect lies casually on the floor – a crucifix. Once there, continue down the corridor until you reach its end, where I believe you’ll uncover a second speaker hidden behind some boxes.
The cell phone you’re looking for is located in the room directly opposite the staircase, on a cabinet near the bed. After that, move to the room on the left side of the hallway, where you’ll find a speaker lying on the floor beside the cabinet on the left.
In this identical space, it’s crucial to remove the security recordings. Here’s how: Access the computer and erase all files that show up. Once done, proceed to the room on your right (the very last one), where you’ll find a shotgun lying under a chair and a Cassette Tape nestled beside the radio.
First, make your way to the final room on this floor and grab the living room key sitting on the table near the water faucet. Before departing, search the area at the back of this same room for a concealed speaker hidden within the left storage locker.
With the key now in hand, you can open the ground-floor living room door. Upon entering, you’ll encounter a Roomba tracing a pentagram, which requires you to hit it to halt its movement. The subsequent clue lies within the corpse discovered in that very room.
As I scan my gaming den, I spot a recorder nestled near the left side of the room. If you look to the right, you’ll find another speaker hidden behind the cabinet there. And if you venture into the ‘cat room’, you’ll notice yet another speaker lurking behind some liquor bottles.
Achievement: Technical Difficulties
Get this achievement by completing the Short Circuit mission
Secret #1
On the left wall of the first-floor corridor, you’ll spot an interactive lamp. Give it a pull, and voila! A hidden room at the end of the corridor will be unveiled. Inside, you’ll stumble upon some money and valuable items that you can take home with you, not to mention earning the Another Brick in the Wall achievement.
Before you leave, go back into the room where you found the shotgun and the first Cassette Tape. A second Cassette Tape will appear here, also next to the radio.
Secret #2
As you step into the living room accompanied by your unusual vacuum cleaner, swiftly veer to your right and search for a compact door located near the refrigerator. Once found, feel free to open it and crawl inside to uncover some hidden treasures and gain additional insights into the house’s past events.
Achievement: Short Circuit
Complete the Short Circuit mission with a perfect score
Chapter 4: Italian Job
- Secrets: 3
- Cassette Tapes: 3
Upon stepping into the pizzeria, make your way towards the restroom where the faucet is located. Your initial clue can be found here – a gun and a tribute to a well-known McRoyale character, hidden inside the stall. Grab a bucket of water, and begin cleaning the main dining area first.
As a curious diner, I’ve come across three intriguing items around this restaurant: a phone lying in the main area, a frying pan tucked away in the kitchen, and a notebook perched on the countertop in the kitchen. Oh, and don’t forget to grab the freezer key hidden inside the pizza oven before you leave!
There’s also a mysterious “Unknown” key you can find in a drawer in the kitchen. We’ll get to that in a bit, but just grab it for now and head to the freezer. You’ll find a couple of tools and a recorder on the floor as evidence in this room.
Now, let’s proceed to the main office located adjacent to the freezer. On the desk, you’ll find a cellphone. There’s a Cassette Tape sitting on the cabinet behind the desk, and a “Family Bingo” list is pinned on the corkboard for your collection.
If you’re having trouble locating the remaining item of furniture in here, chances are it’s the globe. You should be able to spot it inside a bin situated at the back of the door. Remember, once this room is tidied, make sure to also attend to Big Jim’s mess outside.
Achievement: Supermassive Black Hole
Pick up 100 pieces of trash
To reach your destination, head through the office’s door. At the end of the alleyway adjacent to the gate where your truck is parked, you’ll discover the initial evidence and body found in this region. The second piece of evidence and body are a bit more challenging to locate; you’ll need to return to the other side of the alley to find them.
To get to Granny’s apartment, which contains the body, involves some jumping and navigating through platforms until you arrive. You can jump onto a trash bin and then climb up pipes that lead to a window. This particular room doesn’t have any clues or items of interest, so your focus should be on cleaning it instead.
Achievement: Gangsta’s Paradise
Get this achievement by completing the Italian Job mission
Secret #1
To discover the hidden item and earn the “Rock and Roll All Nite” achievement, scramble up the boxes and leap over the barrier. Look towards the right side of the drum set for a hidden speaker where you’ll find a Cassette Tape.
Secret #2
Return to the office, and check out the area behind the bookcases where several cardboard boxes are piled up on the ground. Hidden beneath those boxes is a trapdoor that you can open using the Mysterious Key you discovered earlier. Here, you’ll find some valuable items, which will earn you the Treasure Achievement.
Please go down to the lower level and search near the cabinet containing the radio for a cassette tape. It should be situated close to one of the poker tables.
Secret #3
On the opposite end of the alley leading to Granny’s Apartment, locate a door situated near the water faucet. Enter through this door and continue along the path until you come across an entrance barricaded with wooden planks. Knock down these planks to gain access and uncover the secret hidden within this level.
Achievement: Italian Job
Complete the Italian Job mission with a perfect score
Chapter 5: Affair with Death
- Secrets: 3
- Cassette Tapes: 4
To begin with the mission, the very first Cassette Tape is instantly included in your playlist, eliminating any concern over locating the fourth tape since it’s already been discovered for you.
Before you get to the pool in this section, veer right to stumble upon a couple of closed doors and a workshop that are currently off-limits. Pass through those doors when possible and flip the switch for the pool pump to drain the water from the pool. Once it’s empty, venture into it, and you’ll uncover the workshop key hidden beneath an object.
After tidying up, make your way back to the spot where you changed the pump and enter the workshop. Inside, you’ll discover a recorder sitting on the table. Once you’ve turned on the power, it will allow you access to the main house.
Upon stepping into the house, glance towards your right to locate a Cassette Tape resting on the television console, featuring astronauts on its surface. After picking it up, search for the first piece of evidence in the kitchen, positioned near the body.
Descend to the lower level, which can be accessed through a door located at the rear of the kitchen. You’ll discover four additional items of evidence and another body down there. The area isn’t very messy, so once you’ve finished, make your way back up to the main floor on the first floor.
Achievement: Oops!…I Did It Again
Tip the water bucket over 15 times
On the initial floor, veer right and locate a cellphone lying on the floor just before the bedroom door; this serves as your first piece of evidence. The second item is an axe that you can find within the bedroom itself. You’ll discover the second Cassette Tape on the dresser inside this room.
Clean upstairs, and then head into the bathroom to find a key resting on the toilet.
Achievement: Bad Romance
Get this achievement by completing the Affair with Death mission
Secret #1
After completing your indoor cleanup, head down to the ground floor and into the first living area you encounter. To your left, there’s a door that leads to a room we’ve previously locked – it’s now unlocked. The key you discovered on the toilet opens this door, revealing some valuable items inside.
Secret #2
Step outside and locate the basketball court situated near the swimming pool area. As you find yourself there, toss a ball into the hoop to earn the “Basket Case” achievement. Afterward, ascend the ledge adjacent to the stairs exiting the court, then veer left and make your way into the garden.
Go straight until you can’t anymore, and you’ll find a corner with some valuables to steal.
Secret #3
Down in the game’s basement, right behind where I stumbled upon a body, there are some towering crates that seem out of place. If you push them around, you might uncover a hidden passageway leading to another part of the basement. Plus, if luck is on your side, you’ll stumble upon some spare change, earning you the “Money for Nothing” achievement in this gaming adventure.
Achievement: Affair with Death

Chapter 6: Friendly Fire
- Secrets: 2
- Cassette Tapes: 2
In this relatively compact living space of Tyler’s, not many items or activities abound. Upon your arrival, make a beeline for the kitchen located directly in front of you, and search for a cassette tape hidden on the shelf above the food supplies, found behind the kitchen door.
Straighten up both the kitchen and bathroom spaces, then venture into the living room to discover your initial clue – a phone resting on the rug. The second piece of evidence, another phone, is hidden in the music room, located at the opposite end of the apartment near the bathroom.
Achievement: While my Guitar Gently Weeps
Play some guitars (interact with them)
In this room, you might discover a Cassette Tape as well. This tape is placed near where the keyboard stands, specifically on the table. You’ll find it close to a recorder, which offers a bit more understanding about Tyler’s narrative.
In the bedroom, there’s a photograph on the dresser that provides additional information about your relationship with Tyler. Make sure to take notice of it and examine it when you have the chance.
Achievement: Another One Bites the Dust
Get this achievement by completing the Friendly Fire mission
Secret #1
In the bathroom, which is accessible from the kitchen, search for a vent situated on the right-hand side of the wall upon entry. Upon opening it, you’ll discover a decent sum of money and valuable items that can be taken home.
Secret #2
In the sitting area, notice the sizable, integrated shelf-like structure located behind or where sofas usually stand. On its right side, there’s a door that can be opened. Inside, you’ll discover some money and valuable items.
Achievement: Friendly Fire

Chapter 7: Party’s Over
- Secrets: 2
- Cassette Tapes: 3
As soon as you step in, prior to entering the primary zone, take a glance back and locate a trash can nearby. Inside it, you’ll find a discarded crossbow – this is our initial evidence. Also, keep an eye out for some blood spills that need attention.
As I delve deeper into this mystery, the second crucial piece of evidence lies hidden close to the firepit. You’ll find it underneath a bench that seems to have been flipped over. To uncover it, simply right the bench and return it to its original position. Once done, don’t forget to pick up my phone nearby.
Achievement: Fight For Your Right (To Party)
Pop 30 balloons
As a keen investigator, I’d recommend starting at the cabin on your right first. There, you might discover a body and a crucial piece of evidence. Once you’ve completed that task, keep an eye out for a camera standing on a tripod near the cabin on the left, situated in the narrow walkway. After securing the camera, venture inside the first cabin. In the bathroom at the back, you’ll find a Cassette Tape hidden away. Lastly, make your way up the stairs.
To access the second cabin:
For the third structure, locate an entrance on its right-side barrier. Stroll alongside it until you come across a door covered with boards. Break the boards open using your fists, then enter the building. Once inside, tidy up the deceased individuals and search for the recorder which is situated on the workbench.
After wrapping up downstairs, step back outside, take a right, and follow the path around the structure. You’ll spot a tree adorned with some yellow ladders – that’s where you ascend to continue your exploration. Upstairs, you’ll discover two more chilling figures in the final cabin.
The remainder of this level is quite simple to navigate. In the living room, you’ll discover two crossbow bolts (clues) on the wall near the body. Be sure to pick up the Cassette Tape on the TV stand as well. There’s a hard-to-spot piece of furniture here, so don’t forget to look overhead for it, towards the light source.
In the room adjacent to the bathroom, there is another arrow from a crossbow. Your final clue can be located on the kitchen countertop.
Achievement: Smells Like Teen Spirit
Get this achievement by completing the Party’s Over mission
Secret #1
Step outdoors, make your way to the third cabin that has a surrounding fence. Just before reaching the cabin, take a left turn and venture into the foliage. You’ll discover a hidden pathway where you can lower yourself and proceed. Keep going along this path until you arrive at a fresh location and earn the Single Ladies achievement by completing the necessary steps.
As I uncover the hidden corner, my eyes dart to the left, where I stumble upon a Cassette Tape nestled comfortably on a bench, and a letter that seems to be waiting for me right in front of the words adorning the hedge.
Secret #2
To locate the second hidden treasure, head towards the initial wooden cabin and proceed along its right-side trail. Continue walking straight until you come across a flat plank, either by punching it or using your axe. This action will create an entrance to a small chamber, inside of which you can gather some valuable items for yourself.
Achievement: Party’s Over
Complete the Party’s Over mission with a perfect score
Chapter 8: Modern Art
- Secrets: 2
- Cassette Tapes: 4
The final-to-the-second stage in Crime Scene Cleaner is Modern Art, and it’s quite a task because it’s the largest level in the game. To finish it off perfectly, you need to locate all the hidden artwork, secrets, collectibles, and clean up as usual.
Upon stepping into the level for the first time, take care of the Yellow and Red Rooms situated in the East Wing by tidying them up. A Cassette Tape is located on a table towards the back of the Red Room. This room may need some parkour maneuvers to clean thoroughly since some suspended furniture has blood splatters.
As a fan, I’d guide you this way: Once you’re here, make your way to the West Wing. It has two distinct areas – one dedicated to Music and another to History. Let’s begin with the Music room first. You can clean the primary space conventionally, but there’s a carpeted room situated between the Music and History sections that you’ll need to tidy up as well, in the West Wing.
Head directly through the carpeted room towards the backside and keep going along the path until you come across a door. Open it, and voila! You’re standing on stage. There’s another door further in, which leads straight into the Music room. Don’t forget to grab the Cassette Tape that’s scattered on the stage floor before you depart.
There’s only one piece of evidence in the West Wing, which can be found lodged in the body you find in the History section. It’s lying across the Lion statue.
Now, let’s make our way to the starting point, which is the Central Exhibit. Once you spot the T-Rex statue, take a left and discover an item of evidence near a figure. After tidying up this location, proceed to the right side of the Central Exhibit where you’ll find an exhibition door.
Achievement: Money, Money, Money
Steal $50,000 (tracked over the course of the game)
In the North Exhibit, divided into three areas, we’ll begin our exploration on the right, specifically in what is known as the Duck Room. Here, you’ll find not one but two items serving as evidence, accompanied by two deceased individuals. As you examine this room, keep an eye out for a staircase located at its rear. Ascend the stairs and follow the designated path to reach another body, which is suspended from a door in an adjacent exhibit.
In addition, after you’ve finished tidying up, make your way over to the ‘Dark Room’, which is located on the opposite side of the display, where you might just discover a Cassette Tape.
In a dimly lit room, a malfunctioning Roomba is causing chaos. Reminiscent of a haunted house scenario, you’ll need to physically stop this rogue robot. Prior to cleaning up the mess, follow the trail of blood left behind by the Roomba to discover another corpse with an embedded piece of evidence – in this case, resembling a shield.
Lastly, make your way to the room situated between the Dark Room and the Duck Room. In this space, you will discover a toy gun (serving as evidence) and another corpse.
To reach the upper part of the museum, first, head back to the left side of the Central Exhibit and continue moving towards your left. You’ll spot a staircase that leads upstairs, which will transport you to the Upper Exhibition area. Follow this pathway all the way until you get to the VIP section. From there, veer left and take the stairs down to reach the Cafeteria. Now, you have full access to the entire museum!
To make things simpler, please refer to the tables provided for information about the location of missing art pieces and their correct positions.

Secret #1
As a gamer, I stumbled upon my first secret hidden within the labyrinthine Dark Room. To find it, I recommend tracing the path along the wall where I discovered the body in this very room. You should eventually stumble upon a room filled with TVs huddled together. Approach from the basket court side, then follow this sequence: Straight ahead, turn right, then left twice, followed by another right, and finally straight again. Voila! The elusive secret awaits you among those screens.
In the image provided, you should rearrange the items according to the color sequence shown. Once that’s done correctly, a secret door nearby will unlock. Proceed all the way to the end of the room to grab a unique weapon and complete the “Rage against the Machine” achievement.
When you leave this room, you’ll find someone offering you a Cassette Tape as well.
Secret #2
In the Music Exhibition, find the wall adjacent to the performance stage. There, you’ll spot a gold cassette tape high up on the wall. To access it, first, open the doors beneath the display cases, then utilize those same doors to ascend and reach the golden cassette tape at the top.
When I’ve scaled the heights, hook up with the radiant Gold Cassette Tape, and voila! A covert door magically appears beside the wall. Swing by that display case again to hop through into this hidden chamber, chock-full of goodies just waiting to be discovered.

Chapter 9: Call in Dead
- Secrets: 5
- Cassette Tapes: 4
Upon reaching the sprawling warehouse where your ultimate assignment as a Crime Scene Cleaner lies, the initial task upon entering would be to activate the power. Proceed from the parking garage up the stairs, then unlock the doors. Once inside, veer towards the right and search for the designated space marked ‘Power’ to flip the switch.
Descend the staircase, then take an immediate left to continue on a different route. At the bottom of the stairs once more, you’ll encounter the generator. Switch it on, and you’re now ready to clean up.
Make your way back upstairs, ensure you remain within this vicinity, and search for a truck that shows signs of bloodstains. That’s where you’ll discover the initial corpse and crucial evidence residing inside the vehicle.
After wrapping things up here, I can make my way back to the entrance doors where my adventure began earlier. There’s a couple more fallen comrades, along with another crucial clue lying around on the ground in this sector. I should pick it up before moving on. My next stop is the vibrant room upstairs.
The disarray in there can feel quite daunting at first glance, but once you understand that organizing the boxes by matching their colors with the corresponding shelves makes it a breeze. For instance, put blue boxes on blue shelves, green ones on green, and so on. After tidying up this section, the ground floor will be completely sorted out.
To reach the upper level of the warehouse, hop onto the moving conveyor belt and ride it till you get there. Along the way, you’ll find a door where someone appears to be trapped and a crucial Conveyor Belt Keycard that you must retrieve.
Starting from where you discovered the body, continue along the pathway until you spot a white door on your left side. Pass through that door and you’ll end up in the control room. This is a place you’ll frequent since it houses the controls for the conveyor belt, crane, elevator, hatches, and lights. If at any point you’re unsure about which card operates what, simply look at the vibrant posters on the walls around the Warehouse for clarification.
Achievement: Smooth Operator
Complete a mission without breaking any objects or creating any new stains
Place the Conveyor Belt Access Card into the device on your left side. Following that, locate a door with hacking capabilities and open it. Inside, you’ll discover the Hatch Keycard. Use this keycard in the device once inserted, then activate it to gain entry to the Sorting Room.
You’ll find access to The Sorting Room near where the body was discovered beneath the Hatch door. Inside, you’ll spot the Elevator Keycard resting on a central box. Don’t forget to unlock the Hatches using this keycard – by placing garbage bags and bodies onto the conveyor belt, they’ll automatically be directed into your waiting truck.
To open up the last area of the Warehouse, slot the Elevator Keycard into the mechanism and switch it on. Remember, though, that you can only have three machines powered at once, otherwise the power will trip. If this happens, simply switch the generator back on.
After the Elevator has been activated, step in and ascend to the second floor. Follow a straight path then take a right turn to reach the office, where additional evidence can be found along with a Cassette Tape sitting beside the radio. Once you’ve finished examining everything, return the way you came, but this time take a right at the open door instead.
As a fan, I’d put it like this: Stepping onto an elevated platform overlooking a vast expanse, you notice a ladder to your left and a colossal crane on your right. Start by descending the ladder, where you’ll uncover a Crane Keycard next to some figures in this area. Keep exploring, and you’ll discover another Cassette Tape hidden inside a metal container nestled against the wall.
First, ensure everything is tidied away, then return to the Elevator and proceed to the Control Room. Insert the Crane Keycard, activate it, and ascend to the second level once more. With the keycard in hand, you can now operate the crane to lift a metal container, enabling you to traverse it over to the other side.
Before you begin your cleaning task, take a moment to spin around and open the container that you’ve picked up with the Crane. Inside, you’ll discover additional clues to help unravel the mystery of the story. Be sure to inspect all containers in the area as they contain further evidence and valuable items for you to unearth.
In this location, it’s time to tidy up and gather any remaining clues or bodies. Once completed, your task will be finished.
Achievement: Killing in the Name
Get this achievement by completing the Call in Dead mission
Secret #1
As you reach the final section filled with metallic storage boxes, search for a distinctly blue container that you can access. Inside it, you’ll discover a useful key. Utilize this key to unlock the previously challenging door you might have encountered in the Sorting Room.
Once you manage to open it, you’ll discover a Cassette Tape inside along with several items of value that could bring in some additional income.
Secret #2
Make your way back to the command center, then seek out the lockers positioned by the initial white door you had entered. Either use the ladder available in the room or a chair as a step-up, so you can reach these lockers. Once on top of them, follow the vents directly in front of you. After turning right, leap onto the pipes and unfasten the grate with your axe or sword that you have.
Descend to locate Zack’s room, a modest space where not many items reside. However, by making this descent, you’ll earn the Lookin’ Out My Back Door accomplishment.
Secret #3
Time to head back to the ground level once more. Make your way towards where you activated the power source, but before descending, locate a stack of crates and boxes near that spot. Use those crates as steps and follow the trail until you reach its endpoint.
Here you’ll find some valuables and a book, and you’ve unlocked the third secret to find.
Secret #4
Go to the Power Room, find a door with an image of a bodyguard beside it. Use the TV Room key you’ve already found to open this door and step inside.
Achievement: Juke Box Hero
Find all Cassette Tapes
At the back of the room, behind the TV, you’ll find a Cassette Tape on the podium.
Secret #5
Behind the generator you activated at the start of the level, hidden in plain sight, lies the final secret. Nearby, there’s a grate that can be smashed open using your sword.
After opening it, make your way in and travel along the duct until you come across another grating. Pry open this one as well, and there you’ll uncover the final part of the tale about the Gardener.

Crime Scene Cleaner Walkthrough – Tips for cleaning
- The mop is mostly useful for wiping up larger messes on floors and walls.
- Use the sponge for cleaning around fragile items, carpets, and smaller stains.
- The bucket is essential for cleaning your mops and sponges when they become soaked with dirt and blood.
- Use detergents to better the overall performance of your tools, like ensuring the can get tougher stains out and taking a shorter amount of time to get soaked.
- The Power Washer is a great tool for large stains on walls and difficult-to-reach higher areas.
- The trash bags can be used to pick up any items you break and other trash. If a bag is full, throw it in the truck or on the blue tarp next to the yellow container (depending on the map you’re on).
- Furniture can’t be moved back in place if it’s not cleaned. You’ll know a piece of furniture is ready to move when a blue light flickers over it.
- If you’re missing anything you can’t find, your Cleaner’s Sense (Q) can point out furniture that’s out of place or any stains still existing.
- Be careful of walking through blood, as you’ll leave new stains you need to clean up.
- Pay attention to the reticle when using the mop or sponge. If it’s completely red, it’s time to take it to the bucket, otherwise you’ll start smearing new blood marks instead of cleaning.
- Don’t be afraid to steal any valuables you find, as it can significantly add to your skill points at the end of the level.
