Crew member found “dancing in the toilet” on flight from US to London

As a gamer, I’d rephrase that like this: “Mid-air, while I was cruising through the skies on a British Airways flight, I mysteriously vanished from sight for a bit. Turns out, I was found grooving in the restroom sans clothes! Quite an unexpected turn of events up here.

The flight, running smoothly without any stops along the way, transported passengers from San Francisco to London.

According to The Sun’s report, his coworkers began looking for him on the plane when it was noticed that he was absent. Eventually, they found him locked inside a business class restroom.

A member of the flight staff shared that the individual had been found dancing, almost naked, inside the restroom. It took some time to locate him, and when they did, he appeared to be highly intoxicated.

As a gamer, I’ve got to say this: It’s not just risky, it’s downright insane to pull off a solo disco in the bathroom of Club World like that, especially when it comes to wrapping up your BA journey. This line of work can be quite unpredictable, but I’ve never heard of something as wild as this before.

Once found, the employee was given extra attire and comfortably settled in First Class for the rest of the journey, which is roughly a 10-hour flight from San Francisco to London (the exact timing within the flight schedule is unspecified).

The flight steward was found in a Club World bathroom.

Suspended from duty

After being alerted by British Airways personnel, the individual was handed over to authorities upon landing. Upon leaving the plane, he received immediate medical care. His employment has been temporarily halted while an investigation takes place. When approached for a statement, British Airways informed The Sun that the incident is now under the purview of the police.

Currently, the reason behind the inappropriate office conduct exhibited by an as-yet-unnamed worker is unknown. A crew member who conversed with The Sun hypothesized that potential substance abuse could be a factor, though this theory has yet to be verified.

Incidents that make you raise your eyebrows aren’t rare in flights at high altitudes. For instance, in the year 2024, the Australian airline, Qantas, had to apologize to their passengers when an adult-themed movie was mistakenly played for everyone on a flight from Sydney to Tokyo.
