How to complete each biome area in Creatures of Ava
In Creatures of Ava, every region offers a mix of main and side missions for you to accomplish, plus your personal mission of saving healthy creatures from the encroaching Withering sickness. Additionally, you’ll find yourself gathering plants for crafting needs and uncovering distinctive landmarks like Censers and Statues of Anaris.
Instead of focusing solely on completing the main quests to advance the story and explore other parts of the game, don’t forget to aim for achievements related to the completion of each biome area in the game as well. These achievements are also available.
- Tamura Grasslands
- Nari Jungle
- Antar Dunes
- Maruba Swamp
As a gamer, if you’re gunning for that elusive “completion” achievement across all four realms, here’s a tip from my experience: Prioritize the rescue of the exact number of creatures Tabitha assigns in each biome. You can accomplish this by utilizing the Teleporter Bots strategically placed throughout each zone.
When a Teleportation Bot collects enough creatures within its specified region (marked by a yellow boundary on the map), it will depart, leaving that area behind. Multiple Bots are present in each biome, and it is not essential to finish them all. If you save the required number of creatures that Tabitha desires, then your goal is achieved. This rule also applies to the completion of the area itself.
To fully complete a biome, it’s essential to wrap up the primary quests found within that specific region. Once you’ve accomplished these and met the other condition, the achievement for that area will appear. While secondary quests are enjoyable and rewarding, they aren’t necessary for the completion of this task.
How to fast travel and all teleporter locations in Creatures of Ava (Map)
In my gaming journey through Creatures of Ava, I stumbled upon some fascinating teleportation portals hidden at the human bases nestled in every biome region. Once I’ve activated a base’s nearby generator, these portals spring to life, ready for me to warp across them. As soon as I have an active portal somewhere else, I can hop between them freely, no matter the distance. What’s even more intriguing is that you don’t necessarily need to be right next to a portal to use it. Just call up my map, select the destination portal, and voila! Instant travel.
The more portals you unlock, the easier it will be to get around the vast map of Ava more quickly, as quests and other tasks will require a lot of traveling and exploring. As soon as you come across a new one, activating it should be your top priority.
After completion, these locations will be indicated by the red symbols on your map as a reference. But remember, during specific stages of the game, areas such as Nari Jungle might become off-limits and you won’t be able to use the teleporters in those zones (their markers will change to grey).
list of the teleportation portals in the game, arranged in the usual sequence you’ll unlock them as you progress.
Additional Information: The content of this guide is still being expanded, as we plan to include additional teleport portal locations in the future.
Teleporter #1 – Aleph Prime’s grasslands base
In the game, you’ll find the initial access point right off the bat, which you must activate to continue with the primary mission. This human base is situated westward from the neighboring village. Inside the metallic structure, you will discover not only the portal but also a generator to power it.
Teleporter #2 – Antar dunes sibling tree
Before reaching the Antarctic dunes becomes possible later in the narrative, you can unlock this teleporter at an early stage by venturing into the southern part of the grasslands. Nearby is a sibling tree close to a locked gate leading to the Antarctic dunes, on the bank of a river that flows there. Additionally, it’s situated directly east of The Weeping Rock.
Teleporter #3 – Scientific refuge
At the base of humans perched on a cliffside overlooking the Nari Jungle’s twin trees, you’ll discover a teleportation portal. This particular portal can be initiated prematurely by merely investigating the surroundings and energizing the power source in close proximity. Later on, for a pivotal storyline objective, you will be briefly transported back here, facilitating the unveiling of the entrance to the Nari Jungle area.
Teleporter #4 – Giggling Waterfall
Upon venturing into the mystical Nari Jungle for the first time, one cannot miss the enigmatic teleportation portal nestled at the foot of a cliffside. A short stroll west from a picturesque waterfall cascading into a serene pond, this gateway offers a convenient return to the grasslands when activated. Don’t forget to mark its location as soon as you come across it!
Teleporter #5 – Aleph Prime’s jungle base
In the overgrown Nari Jungle, the second teleportation portal is hidden within the deserted Aleph Prime facility close to Talacan village. To activate both this portal and the entire base, you’ll need to navigate to the rooftop of the structure. To reach that spot, proceed generally towards Talacan, then walk along the luminous green catwalk until you encounter a distinct path on your right leading up a cliffside.
Follow and traverse that trail until it circles around to the rear of Aleph Prime’s peak, where you’ll find the power plant. Activate it and proceed towards the double doors to your right; the teleporter will then be operational.
Teleporter #6 – Roots temporary station
The upcoming portal in Nari Jungle can be located to the south, specifically beyond the panoramic viewpoint of the Sea of Trees, where it follows the spacious temple entrance adorned with blinding plants that emit black ink upon closer approach. This particular portal is exceptionally simple to activate due to its proximity to the power generator placed right beside it.
Teleporter #7 – Marsh of Shine
In the Shine district’s Marsh area, located deep within the Nari Jungle to the east, you’ll find a teleportation portal. Once you arrive at this location, head straight forward until you spot a deactivated portal resting on a rocky platform to your left side.
To get there, you should first establish a bond with one of the local Yekembo beings, known for their strength in shifting massive, heavy items. Specifically, you’ll need them to shove a block marked with radiant blue fissures towards the stone stage. After that task is accomplished, ascend the platform and follow the stairs behind the gateway. At the bottom, you’ll find the power switch for the generator – flip it, and voila! A new gateway will appear.
Teleporter #8 – Parent Tree
According to its title, you’ll find this teleportation device near the Parent Tree within Nari Jungle, which lies in the distant east. To get there, start by befriending and linking with a Zard, allowing it to traverse the animal trail and utilize its claw strike to collapse the bridge. Subsequently, bond with a Yekembo, guide it into the ruins, and instruct it to move the nearby block with blue stripes into the gap, thus building a connecting bridge.
In the initial chamber of the ancient ruin, you’ll find both the teleportation device and the energy source needed to activate it. Make sure to switch it on as doing so will provide you with an additional quick path through the Nari Jungle.
Teleporter #9 – Aleph Prime’s study center
You’ll probably encounter your first teleportation portal in the Maruba Swamp during the “Memories of those lost” main story quest. This special portal is situated within the main structure of the Aleph Prime study center. Interestingly, you can activate it from a distance using the power generator on the left side of the site, which is positioned close to the hangar.
Teleporter #10 – Swamp teleport secondary station
In the Maruba Swamp, the following teleport is situated east of the entrance gate, where you initially venture into the area. But, you won’t be able to reach this particular spot until you discover Michael Dupont’s files at the Aleph Prime research center and start the main quest “Finding Tri’lo”. Upon arrival, just activate the power generator on your left, and the portal will become active.
How to destroy Yellow Witherblossoms
As you explore various regions of Ava, it won’t take long for you to realize that some Witherblossoms are particularly robust and difficult to eliminate, even with the Nafitar staff. While the initial red Witherblossoms you encounter in the game can be vanquished as soon as you acquire the staff, the exceptionally bright yellow Witherblossoms demand a special ability instead.
As you move forward in the game, Nim’ar guides you to a temple located in the open plains where another Sagestone lies hidden. Solve the mosaic riddle within it, and your Nafitar will gain a fresh ability called Krist.
You can interact with Krist to target any Witherblossom that’s yellow in color, attach the Nafitar’s energy to it, then activate Krist’s power to eliminate it. This skill can be enhanced by utilizing the Skill Points you’ve earned.
All creatures and how to tame them in Creatures of Ava
In this game, there are 21 unique creatures to find, train, and save in each of the four distinct environments. To domesticate the creatures within a particular environment, you must initially master the tune of the flute that corresponds to that region. Once you have learned it, you can approach and tame them by replaying their song calls on your flute.
After mastering diverse beings, you’ll momentarily link with them and guide their actions using a flute. Each creature possesses special skills that enable it to access locations Vic cannot, clear blocked paths, or unearth hidden riches. Understanding these unique skills is crucial for advancement since there are areas and objects inaccessible without their help.
As a seasoned gamer with years of adventure under my belt, let me share some insights about the fascinating creatures of Ava I’ve encountered during my journey. Each of these 21 beasts, scattered across this mystical land, possess unique traits that make them stand out among their peers.
By the Way: I’m continually expanding this collection of fantastical beings, so keep an eye out for new additions as I unearth more intriguing creatures! (First person perspective)
