Update (November 17)
Round8 Studio has revealed they’re developing five different games, including a sequel to Lies of P and another soulslike game. They’re also working on a story-driven RPG, a survival adventure game, and a life simulation game, according to @Okami13_.
Original news (November 13)
After the popular soulslike game Lies of P launched in 2023, Round8 Studio of South Korea didn’t stop there. They immediately began working on new content, including the Overture expansion which came out in June, and a sequel announced only 1.5 months after the original game. And it seems they have even more projects in development.
So, Neowiz just dropped some news about what they’re working on, and I’m hyped! Apparently, Kay Lee – you might know them – is leading development on a brand new soulslike game. It’s coming to both PC and consoles, which is awesome. I’m really looking forward to seeing what they come up with!
Kay Lee is a director at Round8 Studio with a strong background, having previously worked at companies like Smilegate (2016-2024), Krafton (2012-2016), and Nexon (2005-2011). This new project is not a sequel to Lies of P; the report lists a separate project specifically titled Lies of P Sequel.

Kay Lee joined Round8 Studio in April 2024, so his project is likely still in its initial phases. We’ll need to wait for more information to become available.
