In 2017, Vicarious Visions developed and Activision Blizzard published the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy for PlayStation 4. This collection of remastered platform games included Crash’s initial three adventures, as well as new and unreleased content such as levels, dialogue, checkpoints, menus for pausing the game, and save systems. Later in 2018, it became available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.

If the N.Sane Trilogy is indeed confirmed, it will be added to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass collection, as announced during the February 2024 episode of Xbox’s Business Update podcast. This announcement came after Microsoft completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Diablo 4 was the first Activision Blizzard game to be included in Xbox Game Pass, which was added in March 2024, as part of Microsoft’s commitment to adding as many Activision Blizzard games as possible to both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, including new releases and classic titles.

There have been reports from eXtas1s that the Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 may soon join Game Pass. But, an exact arrival date for these games has yet to be disclosed. In the interim, Microsoft has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the upcoming installment in the Black Ops series, will be the first game from this franchise to come to Game Pass, with a planned release on October 25, 2024.
