Okay, so this couple sent a wedding invite to Sony – just for fun, I guess – and they actually responded! Not just with a card, but with a whole bunch of free PlayStation games! Seriously, how cool is that? It’s gone viral because, well, who wouldn’t be excited about that kind of wedding gift?
A video posted to Instagram showing a newly married couple opening a gift from Sony has gained over 900,000 views. The video reveals the contents of the letter and gift.
PlayStation sends wedding surprise
The video shows the package contained digital download codes for both Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Horizon Call of the Mountain, plus items that seem to be for use within the Fortnite game.
The messages included at least two gift cards for games. While the video ends before they’re fully visible, one seems to be for a sports game released by 2K.

We also got a really sweet card! It was handwritten with “Aidan & Kirsten, Congratulations on your marriage!” and then had a little printed message underneath saying, “Congratulations and Thank you for playing with us.” It was a nice touch, especially since we’re both gamers!
Kirsten shared in the reel’s caption: “Thanks so much, PlayStation! That was really sweet of you. We’ve all been PlayStation fans since childhood.”
Sony’s first State of Play presentation of 2026, held on February 12th, was likely a must-see for many, as it unveiled a range of new games, including one based on John Wick featuring Keanu Reeves.
