Could this be the next big co-op FPS? The Jump Ship closed beta is live, and you can sign up to see for yourself

Hey there, fellow gamer! If you’ve spent countless hours blasting aliens in Helldivers 2, mining dwarves in Deep Rock Galactic, or saving the universe in Destiny 2, I’ve got a new co-op shooter that might pique your interest. It’s called Jump Ship, developed by Keepsake Games, and it’s an action-packed, mission-driven first-person shooter designed for up to four players. This game looks set to deliver another thrilling, immersive experience, and the best part is, you can still sign up for the closed beta to get a sneak peek!

Spaceships, firefights, and co-op fun

Jump Ship is a cooperative game played from the first-person perspective, in which you and your team command a spacecraft. Our responsibilities include piloting the ship, extinguishing fires, overseeing energy systems, fine-tuning engines, operating turrets, and exploring derelict spaceships on foot. Throughout our journey, we’ll encounter various AI adversaries and environmental obstacles that will require us to stay alert.

The game is currently in its nascent stages of development, and the developers have already run some tests with a select few players. Now, they’re expanding the testing pool by inviting an additional 500 individuals to participate. To join, simply subscribe and keep an eye out for an invitation. The most exciting aspect is, each tester can bring up to three friends along for the ride!

Behind “Jump Ship”, you’ll find the team at Keepsake Games – a fresh game studio hailing from Sweden. Though this could be their debut project, they boast a rich history of contributions to some high-profile games such as Goat Simulator, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, A Way Out, It Takes Two, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Minecraft, and more. Quite an impressive track record!
