CoryxKenshin’s Manga Breaks Records, Rivals Japan’s Best – Find Out How!

Internet sensation CoryxKenshin went offline for approximately 1.5 years to create a unique manga of his own, which has become incredibly popular and sold a staggering amount of copies when it was first released.

As a dedicated gamer myself, I can’t help but be impressed by CoryxKenshin, a YouTuber whose content is simply irresistible to over 21 million of us. His videos are filled with laughter as he tackles some of the scariest horror games out there, like Poppy Playtime and Five Nights at Freddy’s.

In 2023, the internet icon unexpectedly fell silent. He vanished without a trace for more than a year, only to reappear in late 2024 with an explanation. It turned out that during his absence, he had been engrossed in a new project that occupied him for the entire period.

Monsters We Make sells 200K copies, Volume 2 confirmed

The innovative science fiction and horror comic book titled ‘Monsters We Make’ has garnered immense popularity among fans. Intriguingly, the initial volume of this comic book sold an astounding 200,000 copies within its first week, positioning it as one of the fastest-selling independently published manga series in the United States.

Apart from that good news, it’s been confirmed that there will indeed be another edition of “Monsters We Make” coming up! This one is scheduled for release towards the end of 2025.

Cory described his series ‘Monsters We Make’ as a place where he can work out all the thoughts and personal insights he’s gathered over the years, having been an observer for so long,”

or simply:

“Cory referred to his series ‘Monsters We Make’ as a space to apply and express ideas and life experiences accumulated during his decades of observation.

Developing a tale that examines human nature and what drives us, featuring more Black characters as I’ve yearned for in such stories, and also incorporating elements of my religious beliefs, served as the key inspirations for this endeavor.

It held significant value for me to encounter a character like The Raikage from Naruto in an environment where Black characters are seldom represented, especially those with great power. I aspire that my primary character, Jabari, could have the same impact on others that Goku had on me during my upbringing. This endeavor, despite being a tremendous amount of effort, has been exceptionally enjoyable and rewarding.

Cory has been putting in a lot of effort into creating his unique comic series, going as far as dedicating an extra month solely to managing his business affairs, after which he resumed producing YouTube content.

Although this venture has kept him from producing content for his eager followers, he’s been transparent about not leaving his YouTube channel behind. He’s unwaveringly committed to fulfilling his pledge of uploading 100 videos by the year 2025.
