Tim Burton’s beloved animated film, Corpse Bride, is coming to 4K Blu-ray for the very first time on September 23rd, just in time for its 20th anniversary! There are two versions available: a standard 4K Blu-ray for $23.79, and a Limited Edition Steelbook with a special collectible case and sleeve, currently on sale for $30 (originally $35). Both editions are available for preorder now at Amazon and Walmart.
This special Steelbook edition was incredibly popular – it sold out in July, even before the cover art was shown – and some resellers were asking up to $45.49 for it. If you already preordered from Amazon or Walmart, you’ll automatically be charged the lowest price of $30. Fans of Tim Burton can also preorder the new *Beetlejuice Beetlejuice* Limited Edition Steelbook for $30 (originally $35). Both this collectible and the *Corpse Bride* Steelbook will be released on the same day.
Corpse Bride tells the story of Victor, a shy groom who mistakenly marries a dead woman named Emily while practicing his vows. Now trapped in the Land of the Dead, he must find a way to break the accidental marriage and help Emily find peace, all while trying to marry his intended bride, Victoria.
Tim Burton’s *Beetlejuice* is also receiving a special Limited Edition Steelbook release on September 23rd. Plus, you can still find the original Steelbook version at Walmart for around $20.
