In the realm of A Minecraft Movie, there’s an assemblage of characters more captivating than the chicken jockey, but unfortunately, it didn’t gain widespread popularity online. This film swiftly immerses viewers into the Overworld, a block-constructed dimension teeming with peculiar creatures. Among these beings, the chicken jockey in A Minecraft Movie is the one that leaves the deepest impression. The sight of a baby zombie astride a chicken has sparked an uproar among cinema-goers, resulting in numerous viral video clips. Nevertheless, aside from the chicken jockey, there are numerous other remarkable characters in A Minecraft Movie waiting to be discovered.
The reception for the movie titled “A Minecraft Movie” has been varied. Mae Abdulbaki from Ebaster gave it a 4 out of 10 score. Yet, despite some criticisms, it’s undeniable that the film, in production since 2014, offers plenty of enjoyable scenes. These amusing instances have generated numerous viral clips, boosting the movie’s box office performance. As we speak, it has grossed an impressive $726 million (according to Box Office Mojo). However, considering its popularity, there seems to be a surprising lack of discussion about the spider jockey in “A Minecraft Movie“.
A Minecraft Movie Includes A Spider Jockey Long Before The Chicken Jockey Scene
Garrett Is Chased By A Spider Jockey In A Minecraft Movie
In “A Minecraft Movie,” Garrett’s battle against the chicken jockey is unquestionably the most popular scene, offering Jason Momoa a chance to showcase his talent for physical comedy during combat. Yet, prior to this, he comes across a spider jockey. Once darkness falls in “A Minecraft Movie,” Garrett, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn gather to confront the beasts that will pursue them. Since they haven’t crossed paths with Steve yet, they are completely unprepared for this encounter.
Consequently, when a horde of skeletons assaults them, all characters become terrified and flee. Henry, Natalie, and Dawn stick together, yet Garrett breaks off and heads elsewhere. Unfortunately for Garrett, the spider-riding skeleton targets him instead. The spider-riding skeleton, a chilling creature in “A Minecraft Movie,” is one of the most unsettling mobs. Moreover, the spider-riding skeleton proves to be far more dangerous than the chicken-riding skeleton in the movie.
A Minecraft Movie’s Spider Jockey Is Great Because Of Their Game Rarity
Spider Jockeys Are More Rare Than Chicken Jockeys In Minecraft
In the world of Minecraft, you’ll find that spider jockeys are not only more intimidating and potent but also less common than their chicken counterparts. Specifically, there’s just a 1% likelihood of a spider being ridden by a skeleton, whereas a chicken jockey has a 5% chance to appear. Consequently, even though the scene involving a spider jockey in A Minecraft Movie may not be as memorable as Garrett’s fight with the chicken jockey, it is indeed much more unusual due to its rarity.
Due to its underestimated impact, the spider jockey scene stands out as one of the most underrated instances within “A Minecraft Movie”. Although skeletons can be threatening too, the appearance of a spider jockey amplifies the terror of nighttime in “A Minecraft Movie”. Moreover, this spider jockey wields an enchanted bow, making it an exceptionally formidable adversary. It’s fascinating that such a rare enemy is featured so early on in “A Minecraft Movie”. Fortunately, Garrett manages to escape the clutches of the spider jockey and, along with the other characters, makes it through the night unscathed.
Why A Minecraft Movie’s Spider Jockey Isn’t As Popular As Chicken Jockey
A Minecraft Movie’s Spider Jockey Scene Hasn’t Gone Viral
Despite the spider jockey being one of the most unsettling characters in “A Minecraft Movie“, it appears early on in an exciting pursuit sequence. Unfortunately, this creature hasn’t struck a chord with viewers as much as expected. It’s unfortunate because spider jockeys are significantly rarer than chicken jockeys in the game. However, it’s not entirely surprising given that the chicken jockey fight in “A Minecraft Movie” is far more comical. The spider jockey chase scene has a horror movie feel, while the chicken jockey scene is designed to elicit laughter from the audience.
In the movie “A Minecraft Movie, it’s Garrett who meets the character known as the chicken jockey. However, by this point, he and the other characters have already gotten to know Steve, brilliantly played by Jack Black. The scenes from this movie that have become internet sensations often involve Steve, and some of the most popular ones include Steve introducing himself, his performance of “Steve’s Lava Chicken Song,” and, needless to say, his introduction of the chicken jockey.
The most popular moments from “A Minecraft Movie” show just how much fans adore the character, Steve. Whenever Steve appears in a scene, it tends to be side-splittingly funny. Consequently, although the spider jockey chase is fantastic, its lack of Steve might explain why it hasn’t garnered as much virality as the chicken jockey fight. Fans often quote Steve’s lines from “A Minecraft Movie”, which unfortunately cannot be done during the spider jockey chase sequence.
Future Minecraft Movies Can Make Spider Jockey A Bigger Deal
A Spider Jockey Could Appear In A Minecraft Movie 2
The spider jockey scene in “A Minecraft Movie” hasn’t left a lasting impression like the chicken jockey fight or other scenes, but it’s a pity since finding a spider jockey is quite uncommon in the game. Yet, future Minecraft movies could give this moment another chance and incorporate another spider jockey scene. Although a sequel to “A Minecraft Movie” hasn’t been confirmed yet, considering its success, I can hardly imagine it won’t be given the go-ahead soon.
It’s quite possible that additional Minecraft films will be produced over the next few years. So, maybe Garrett and other characters might run into a spider jockey once more in an upcoming Minecraft movie. If such an event transpires, it would be fantastic if Steve were present to allow Black to deliver another side-splitting and unforgettable line. Experiencing a spider jockey in a Minecraft Movie was thrilling, but I’m hoping that we haven’t seen the last of them in this growing series.
