It turns out Heated Rivalry was a great stepping stone for actor Connor Storrie, who’s now joining Criminal Minds: Evolution. He’ll be in the show’s fourth season (the 19th if you count all seasons of Criminal Minds and CM:E together), though his role hasn’t been revealed yet. The news came from The Hollywood Reporter along with the announcement that Criminal Minds is getting a 20th season. It’s likely Storrie filmed his CM:E scenes after Heated Rivalry started gaining popularity. Any show that managed to cast him during that time is probably thrilled right now.
The show Criminal Minds often features well-known guest stars, and several big names are joining the cast for the next season, including Justin Kirk, Clark Gregg, Jeri Ryan, Rob Yang, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Paul F. Tompkins. Interestingly, Tompkins and Brown both previously worked with Criminal Minds star Paget Brewster on the show Community. It’s a fun connection to look out for when Criminal Minds: Evolution starts streaming on Paramount+ on May 28th.
