As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the intriguing docuseries “Fugitive: The Mystery of the Crypto Queen” has garnered significant international attention. In fact, according to my sources, it has been sold in a stunning 31 territories around the world. Can you believe it? What a captivating story that’s leaving audiences hooked!
I was part of an intriguing investigation that followed Ruja Ignatova’s global trail. We traveled to North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa filming this case. Ignatova, the founder of the fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme OneCoin, became the only woman on the FBI’s Most Wanted list.
A single individual, identified as Ruja Ignatova, has managed to make it onto both the FBI and Interpol’s Most Wanted lists for 2022. Following the massive cryptocurrency scam, believed to be one of the largest ever, Ignatova vanished along with an enormous fortune in missing funds. The global community is now left wondering about her whereabouts.
Rudolph Herzog and Raid Sabbah, the creators of the docu-series, conduct interviews with both victims and experts to construct a compelling depiction of Ignatova.
Dare Productions, in partnership with Tondowski Films, create the series. Fremantle took part in the financial investment and now handles international distribution, excluding the UK and Germany.
