As a seasoned gamer with decades of tactical gaming under my belt, I must say that the release of the playable demo for Commandos: Origins has me more than just a little excited. Having grown up playing the original Commandos series, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I prepare to dive back into the world of these iconic commandos.

At last, I’ve managed to get my hands on a playable demo for Commandos: Origins! After waiting eagerly since the August gameplay presentation and participating in those closed beta tests, tactical gaming enthusiasts like myself can now preview the latest addition to this legendary series, thanks to Claymore Game and Kalypso Media.

The demo version is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Players can check one mission, prepared by the creators specifically for the demo version. Thanks to this, it is supposed to give players a foretaste of “complex gameplay mechanics and tactical stealth”, which we will fully experience after the premiere of Commandos: Origins later this year.

Regrettably, despite the fact that 2024 is nearing its close, neither the developer nor the publisher have revealed when this game title will be out, as mentioned in their announcement regarding the demo availability. Fans of Commandos can merely cross their fingers that the game won’t experience delays and, most importantly, it won’t fall short of their high expectations. As the demo has only recently been unveiled, no details are known yet about what this demo of Origins entails.
