EXECUTIVE NEWS

ITV Studios has named Katie Buchanan as the Executive Vice President for the Americas region, focusing on global partnerships. Previously working at A+E Networks, she will now be based in London, reporting directly to Tom Clark, who holds the position of Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Commercial Strategy.

Buchanan is leading a Los Angeles-based squad, which comprises Rob Kaplan, who now oversees US sales in addition to Latin America, Craig Bohland as the VP of sales for Canada, and Laura Rhodarmer, who manages brand partnerships across the USA, Canada, and Latin America. This team will collaborate closely with Jemma Harvey, based in London, who serves as SVP of scripted global content and co-productions.

I’m delighted to introduce myself as a fresh addition to our team, joining in the role of VP Sales for both the US and Latin America. Previously, I held the position of VP SVOD acquisitions at TelevisaUnivision. Additionally, we have Eisha Fremerman joining us, bringing her extensive experience as a senior sales manager for the US and Latin America region. She comes to us from QVC, where she served as a streaming programming consultant. We’re excited to welcome both Maria Ines Rodriguez and Eisha Fremerman to our team!

Clark stated that we were seeking an individual who could act as a strategic leader, foster strong relationships, and possess extensive knowledge of our clientele. Additionally, someone who isn’t afraid to question the current norms was desired. Clark believes they have found this person in Katie. With Rob now overseeing both the US and Latin America, the arrivals of Maria and Eisha, Craig’s ongoing efforts in Canada, and Laura’s continued work on formats, our team is ideally situated to elevate our business with our esteemed partners throughout the Americas region.

As a passionate film enthusiast, I’m ecstatic about being part of this extraordinary organization and an exceptional team of individuals. ITV Studios is renowned for creating and distributing top-tier content in our industry, and I can hardly contain my excitement at the prospect of contributing to the expansion of their lucrative and multifaceted content offerings.
