And so, another day, another dollar… lost in the vast expanse of cryptocurrency 🤑. The CoinDesk 20, a stalwart index of the digital realm, has seen better days. Its current value of 3106.99 is a mere shadow of its former self, down 0.8% (-25.47) since last Friday at 4 p.m. ET. The optimists among us might say, “Ah, but it’s still a mighty fine index!” 🤔
Alas, not all is well. Five of the 20 assets are trading higher, a meager consolation in a sea of woe. HBAR and NEAR, those stalwart leaders, are up 7.8% and 2.1% respectively, but what’s the point of progress when the rest are sinking like stones? 🌊
And then, of course, there are the laggards. SOL and DOT, those once-promising tokens, are now lagging behind, down 6.0% each. One can’t help but wonder, “What went wrong?” 🤷♂️
