CoD: Black Ops 6 And Warzone Patch Notes Detail Several Fixes, Return Of Nuketown 24/7

As a seasoned gamer with decades of Call of Duty under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions as I dive into the Season 1 updates for Black Ops 6 and Warzone. On one hand, it’s exciting to see the developers taking swift action to patch map exploits and address stability issues. The return of Nuketown 24/7 is a welcome addition, and the increased loadout slots in Warzone are a much-needed quality-of-life improvement.

In just a day since Season 1 launched in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the developers have started implementing changes to both games. The update on November 15 outlines various corrections for all game modes, however, regrettably, it also withdraws the legacy XP tokens from Black Ops 6.

Among the significant points outlined in the update summary, Treyarch clarified that the legacy experience (XP) tokens, which gamers had collected in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone before Black Ops 6’s debut, were unintentionally not meant to be part of Black Ops 6 during Season 1. Yesterday’s appearance of these tokens was an oversight, and it has now been fixed to only display the XP tokens that can be utilized in Warzone.

In terms of multiplayer, the return of the much-loved Nuketown 24/7 playlist has been included in the game, available for both standard and Hardcore gaming modes.

The update patched map exploits on Hideout and Payback, which previously allowed players to go outside of the intended playspace. It also addressed an issue where permanently unlocking the Ghost Perk could prevent it from being equipped.

In the first season of “For Zombies”, a new Directed Mode has been incorporated into private matches where squad-fill is disabled. This update also enhances the mode’s stability and fixes an exploit related to the Treasure Hunt side quest on the Terminus map. Previously, this exploit allowed players to collect excessive essence.

In simpler terms, the latest update for Warzone brings a few minor changes, but the most significant one is expanding the number of customizable weapon loadouts you can save from ten to twelve.

Changes made to address minor issues involve rectifying a problem where Buy Stations erroneously charged players an incorrect amount for items not corresponding to their displayed purchase price, and resolving a glitch that allowed the ground-loot variant of the AEK-973 marksman rifle to discharge in full-automatic mode.

The full patch notes can be found below for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, as shared by Activision.

In related Call of Duty updates, gamers have noted that this year’s Season 1 battle pass seems to be a step back compared to past seasons. Additionally, it features an emote reminiscent of the popular Raygun Olympic breaker from the Paris 2024 Games.
